This rice cooker far exceeds all my expectations. I followed the instructions and it was just a bit too al dente for me, but next time I used it I simply added a little more water and gave it half to one minute extra boiling time and it turned out exactly to my taste. If you snap on the excellent lid properly after the recommended 'open pot' cooking time, it will also keep the rice warm after you remove it from the microwave, giving you time to microwave a few vegetables. No more constantly watching saucepans on the hob to prevent the rice either stop boiling or boil over! To be sure, if you add more water to the decor pot or cook the rice a little longer there can be a slight oozing of the liquid within the microwave; but this really is only a little oozing and so easy just to wipe up afterwards.

For someone who could never quite get her rice cooked correctly. Now I can make nice & fluffy rice. Theis works & Is so easy. Hasn't failed me yet.

I have always used microwave rice coolers as they make perfect rice every time. This one was slightly different to the others I have had but still made perfect rice at a bargain price. Very happy.
