Junk
Install July 28th, worked until September 24th... Fan runs real good but does not remove humidity. Spent a lot of money for just a few months.

It seems to be doing the job.
We had mold removal in our finished basement which is quite large and these two dehumidifiers seem to be doing an excellent job at keeping the humidity at the correct level. You can hear the device go on and when it is running but it is not a problem.

Ivation 6000 was DOA. Quality did look good. The replacement unit is working very well.
The Ivation 6000 was dead on arrival. Amazon quickly arranged for an exchange. Ivation support was quick to diagnose the problem and suggest I call Amazon for an exchange. The replacement unit is working well without any problems.

Arrived broken in multiple places
At least Amazon is sending a replacement, but the original took almost two weeks to get here broken and now the replacement will take another two weeks. Also tried to plug it in and see how it worked and noticed it reading the humidity at 53 when all my other devices in the same space say 65. Maybe another defect in this one. Hoping the replacement works because they aren’t cheap!

I love it
This has been in my bathroom for a few months, and it's working awesomely. No trouble with the reservoir drawer or its float level sensor (although one time it flipped down after I pulled the drawer to empty it and I had to figure out what had happened and restore the float sensor's position before replacing the drawer), the filter is great and super easy to clean (I have the unit where the front is against the wall so the fan is pointed at the hanging towels and I can see how dirty the filter is), the noise is to be expected and not excessive for a dehumidifier -- it's mostly fan air noise with minimal compressor buzzing, and it really does work faster than the other one I've had (Delonghi 80). All settings are easy to figure out and set, and I'm not worried about any component's durability. It works awesome to prevent mold and reduce odors in my bathroom. I hang my shoes and clothes on the towel rack every night for the same reason. This is my favorite appliance, and I've also got a great heat pump and a great range.I have not used the pump, but this was the dehumidifier with the best reviews, and I don't recommend any others based on what I read.

Pump did not work, dumped water all over!
This thing is junk. The pump didn't work and it spilled gallons of water on my basement floor. Buttons on panel did not work properly when pressed. Total disaster. Also, as noted in other reviews, the direction labels on the machine are unclear and were written poorly. Broken english, misspelled words....seems trivial, huh? Not really when you NEED to follow those directions to operate the machine properly. They should be clear and easy to interpret...neither of which these are. End of the day, it is back on a truck and I will not seek a replacement machine of this brand.

100%
It’s been running more or less continuously for two months now in a 2200 ft sq basement, using the pump feature to put the condensate into a washing machine drain stack. I have shut it off a couple of times for the filter cleaning as described in the instructions. Before before my brother carried its 40 lbs to the basement, we had it running upstairs for a few days. Beware the reservoir - it is heavy, though well balanced, when full. Now that it’s running the pump feature, the reservoir weight isn’t an issue except when time for cleaning. Some reviews complained of the instructions - they seemed clear enough, and they are available at the product display on Amazon if you want to read before purchase. My one complaint might be the instructions; why are they printed in grey ink? Too cheap to use black ink?!? Difficult for old eyes.

Ignore the bad reviews about the Pints Per day rating
This was to upgrade a 65 Pints per day unit that was still working but couldn't keep up in the basement. The new unit is doing a better job, so it does seem to be pulling more pints out per day. It's also fairly quiet, at least compared to three other units we have. (We own 2 houses both with basements). This one new unit now seems to be enough for the small house, we moved the old 65 unit to the other house. The rating change is a government thing, it still pulls out as much water as it did before.
