Does what it should

Appears to be no UK reviews here as of yet, so thought I’d review these as candidly and clearly as possible. Positives: battery included - already inside, plug-and-play ready, and they function properly once you eventually get them running. The rest: this is an absolute pain to clone. I’ve cloned many FOBs in my time and know my tech, but neither the included instructions nor CAME’s YouTube videos actually give you the correct steps. Likely due to an update in the design, or just an overlooked flaw. I only succeeded once I got frustrated enough to start trying everything possible, however illogical it seemed. I can’t even properly explain how to do it here because I only know how now almost subconsciously, i.e. it is far too unintuitive and awkward to put neatly into words. A huge design oversight by CAME. Their video on TOPF key cloning/duplication is utterly useless. No surprise they have comments disabled. I had to fiddle around for ages before I eventually figured it out. My advice is start by following the guide instructions that come with these, notice that they don’t work, then fiddle around some more. You will always start by holding the top 2 buttons on the new FOB, as instructed. KEY PART: You will know it has actually worked if the new FOB *slowly* blinks its light, rather than suddenly turning off. This knowledge is pivotal. Value for money is decent. I paid £21 per FOB on discount. They are not worth much more than that, despite CAME historically inflating the pricing. Ugly design to be frank. My gorgeous keychain is now ruined with this hanging off it lol. Once working, these do function properly and are consistent. Albeit its very plasticky and hollow design - not a good combination. I looked inside and it is not particularly well protected either. Feels cheap. Looks cheap. However, have not owned one for long enough to say much about durability. I must wonder why the CAME TOPF series FOBs are so large compared with competitors. The range is no better, and it uses the same CR2032 battery. Device should be half its current size. Therefore I genuinely can’t justify the additional bulk, and I don’t think CAME can either.

La programmation très facile grâce aux explication données avec le nouvel émetteur. A noter qu'il me restait un autre émetteur ancien qui fonctionnait et a pu être cloné. Je recommande.

Dopo anni di onorato servizio, il mio vecchio trasmettitore CAME ha smesso di funzionare (probabilmente un guasto alla scheda interna), così sono andato sul sicuro restando sul prodotto originale con questo nuovo modello TOP quadricanale nero (806TS-0102). La differenza estetica è notevole: il nero opaco è molto più elegante e moderno delle vecchie versioni grigie, e la plastica sembra più resistente ai graffi. LA PROGRAMMAZIONE (Procedura testata) Il vantaggio del codice fisso a 433,92 MHz è la facilità di duplicazione. Se avete un secondo telecomando ancora funzionante, la copia richiede 30 secondi. Ecco i passaggi che ho seguito: Premete insieme i due tasti superiori del nuovo telecomando finché il LED non lampeggia velocemente. Premete il tasto che volete configurare sul nuovo (il LED resta acceso fisso). Avvicinate il telecomando vecchio (funzionante) al retro del nuovo e premete il tasto da copiare. Il LED del nuovo farà tre lampeggi lenti: configurazione completata! COMPATIBILITÀ Fate attenzione: questo modello funziona solo con la serie CAME TOP a codice fisso. Non funzionerà se il vostro impianto usa la tecnologia Rolling Code. Un trucco per capire se è quello giusto? Se il LED del vostro vecchio telecomando è fisso quando premete (e non lampeggia o cambia colore), allora questo modello è compatibile. PRO: Affidabilità Originale: Nessun ritardo nell'apertura del cancello. Portata: Eccellente, prende il segnale da circa 35-40 metri. Batteria inclusa: Arriva già pronto all'uso con una CR2032. CONTRO: Prezzo leggermente superiore ai cloni cinesi, ma la stabilità del segnale è di un altro livello. Conclusione: Sostituzione perfetta per chi non vuole impazzire con configurazioni complesse o prodotti di scarsa qualità. Se cercate la massima compatibilità con centraline CAME, non ha senso cercare altrove.
