Travel Beach Umbrella Compact Portable Sun Umbrella Fits in Your Suitcase - Carry Bag Included

This product is great - so easy to use, so easy to put together and take apart, provides a good amount of shade, and stores really small. My husband and I recently went on a beach vacation and brought this along to make sure we had shade and avoid renting umbrellas at every beach we went to - this umbrella was perfect! It does everything a much larger and bulkier umbrella does, but is small enough to be portable so you can bring it on international trips and is very easy to carry. The silver lining made us feel confident that we were getting great sun protection, the vents kept us cool and prevented the umbrella from being taken by the wind, and the umbrella itself is pretty cute - I would definitely recommend it.

I have been looking for something like this for years! Wish the colors were a little more of a true rainbow/prettier, but it still looks nice on the beach. Perfect for someone who likes to visit hike-to or even walk-to beaches. Really have never found anything better for this purpose. Can fit in a backpack (sticking out the top a little), bungee corded to the side of a pack, or carried on its own. It is light. I live about 1 mile from the beach in CA and love being able to walk down to the beach with this and a small bag with my similarly awesome collapsible/foldable Crazy Creek chair (folds and fits in a beach bag) and a few other essentials. Perfect for the minimalist beach goer. I love it! Oh, and it's vented at the top (helps with wind) with an easy-move sand insertion design (useful as sun moves). Haven't tried it on super windy days, but holds up great in average wind conditions.

Worked out great for our little family’s short weekend trip to the beach. Provided enough shade for 2 adults. Not sure how it would hold up if a big gust of wind were to come thru because it seems a bit flimsy. But overall, great value for the price.

Way too big - I'd expected it to be more "travel" sized. It would take up my entire suitcase so I returned it. Good quality though. Great for a small car or local beach trip where you can pack heavier.

We were traveling to Costa Rica to sit on the beach, and I wanted a beach umbrella to give me a little shade, because I burn easily. This fit into our checked bag, was super easy to assemble, and provided just the right amount of shade on the beach! Our condo proprietor told us not to try to use an umbrella on the beach because it was too windy, but not so for this one! It comes with four "anchors" that keep the umbrella steady in the wind and a very secure spike for the pole. We are SO GLAD we bought this and it will go everywhere we do!

UPDATE: The manufacturer sent me a new one and I'm all set now! I have used it twice and it's great to have something so compact for my regular Sundays at the beach on my bike. The umbrella is big enough to share the shade with a friend and I have not had trouble with up to 10mph or so winds. I agree with another reviewer that the first time you open it, it seems really stiff and difficult, but after that, somehow it loosens up and is not difficult to open and close.The search for a portable beach umbrella is a difficult one - we have been searching for one for years and the only other option was to import one from Canada for twice the price. That one has been fine but it is small. I am excited to try this and the size and weight seems good for a full size beach umbrella. However, the travel case arrived ripped - the pole was already sticking out through the case. This is too bad as the case is crucial as I intended to use it this summer to bike down to the beach.

I purchased this travel umbrella for a Caribbean beach trip because it was the only one I could find that would fit into my suitcase. I knew from previous visits to our resort that limited shade was available and, due to a medical condition, I cannot have extended exposure to direct sunlight. My hope was that this umbrella would provide my needed shade because I absolutely love relaxing on the beach with a good book. My hopes were destroyed, however, on the first day I tried to use the umbrella. The base that went into the sand to anchor the umbrella was defective and no matter how hard I (and two strong men) tried, it would not securely anchor the umbrella. When I tried to use the stakes to anchor the umbrella, they would not go into the sand on the beach because of the flimsy plastic construction. Instead of going into the relatively soft sand, they would bend, rendering them useless. As a result, the only way I could use the umbrella at all was to use the strings attached to the stakes to tie it to a couple of beach loungers on either side of mine, making it impossible to reposition my lounger for comfort. Instead of being the envy of the others on the beach, I became the laughingstock and gave up trying to use the poorly designed umbrella on the first day of my week-long trip. As this is the second EasyGo product I have purchased with similar results (previously purchased the EasyGo Cabana and it broke the first time I used it) I would recommend that customers attempt to find similar products offered by other companies in order to avoid throwing money away. I know that I certainly will! As it has been closer to 60 days since I placed the umbrella, rather than the 30 allowed, unfortunately, per company policy, I cannot return it.

This umbrella is very convenient but after the first use the zipper to the carrying bag broke very cheap zipper

This is quite a good quality umbrella, however, it's very hard to open all the way. I'm not able to completely open it; even my husband, who's quite strong, has to struggle a bit to get it completely open.

Excellent quality! Easy to pack for airplane travel, easy to use, I enjoyed it for my 5 weeks in morocco, I highly recommend
