I bought this on a whim for my son as I thought the look of it would fit in its room. When you open the box, it just looks like a piece of glass in wood. But no - it’s more than that. To be clear, it’s “wood effect” - not real wood. But it looks real, and to be honest, I wouldn’t want a wooden clock with all of this technology inside. And it’s not just a semi-circle of glass, it’s a panel of made of LEDs that light up in all sorts of ways, I lost count. I would be happy with just plain white light, but you get most of the colours of the rainbow. There's so much to customise from sound to lights and alarms and snoozing, I honestly think it can work for anyone's preferences. But anyway, it’s more than shiny lights. It’s an alarm clock - it’s easy to read, you can adjust the lights, you can adjust the brightness, you can adjust the sound (I can’t believe it wakes up my son lol). There is so much you can customise to fit your room or preferences it will take you a couple good hours to test everything out - and a good couple of mornings to find your perfect setting - but trust me it’s worth it to figure out what works best for you out of this device. What else can I say, except that it looks fab in my son’s room…and he’s been actually waking up on time because of it! For that alone, well worth the investment as it saves me from waking up earlier lol. Think I’m going to buy another one for myself! Actually what else I can say as I review almost everything I buy on Amazon - is that this just is "professional", and worth the cost. That's not always the case. This is a keeper, and great gift for the upcoming holidays.

I absolutely love this clock. The feature to turn down the display light at night was the reason my last clock was no good. It kept me awake at night as it was too bright. I used to put something in front of it which kind of defeated the point of it lighting up in the morning. But this is perfect. Looks smart. Works well. I love hearing the birds in.the morning and sometimes leave it going for a while to listen. I love the light colours. They give a lovely cosy glow in the evening. Easy to use and arrived super quick. This is a good alarm clock. It's way gentler than my phone's alarm and the sunrise simulator is really good.

Great device and the light, with no sound, is a great way to wake up. Only downside is the light goes off after 15mins of reaching fill brightness but I'm usually fully awake and ready to go by then. If you're a 'doser' make sure you don't get caught out.

Just as another reviewer recorded in a video, this clock makes an extremely high pitched static sound at all times! You can hear it from across the room and certainly cannot fall asleep with it. It’s really a shame because other than this fault, I can see myself liking this clock and it does look great. But unfortunately its more of a nuisance to keep, and totally unsuitable for purpose. The high pitched sound it emits is such a deal breaker that I’m surprised this is even allowed to be sold…

I like the light effect but I can't seem to set the noise effect for waking up - I did it once, by mistake - but despite repeated tries, i can't seem to set the sounds for wake up calls again. I've gone back to the instructions a number of times but they're very basic. I can set the sounds to send me to sleep so it's not the volume, it must be me! Can anyone advise please?

Lovely looking clock and alarm with great lighting effects. You can easily change the light colours, relaxing sounds (with different volumes) and the brightness of both the semi circle light (5 different levels) and the clock display (using a dial on the side). The sunrise setting is great for increasing the light level in your room gradually and it's much better than using your phone to wake you up as it stops the temptation of starting scrolling social media as soon as you get up. The instructions aren't the best so you might need to spend a little time experimenting with the settings but once you've got to grips with it, it's a wonderful device in my opinion and a great alternative to more expensive sunrise lamps. I'm glad I bought it.

Lovely item. Functional and easy to set up. Positioned on bedside cabinet. It looks nice and unobtrusive. Haven't used all the features yet but instruction booklet is clear and lots of diagrams to assist. Lots of different sound and light settings to suit all moods.

You can wake up to your favorite color every day! The light screen can also function ad a lamp giving off both warm white light and different colored light for all day long. This also has several sound modes to help soothe you to sleep in addition to waking you up! Has natural sounds and can also play music! Thisbis such a great alarm clock, I love that it wakes you and puts you to sleep! So fun!

I love this clock. This is just standard but it's loud for the alarm, you can set it for mon - fri or sat and sun. It's bright or low. The colors are great and touch the top, and it changes. The large digits make it easy to read and the buttons work well. Overall best clock I bought. It functions great and never had an issue with it. And the temp is for inside, but watch where you put it, or it won't give an actual reading. I can't control from my phone but that's OK. Sometimes simple is way better. You won't be disappointed.

Nice alarm clock with wake up light. Pretty loud. Only problem is it doesn't have a built in speaker but it does work well. Looks cool too.

This is a great product. It has so many different settings so you can wake up exactly how you like. For example, you can set it to regular time or military time, you can turn off the screen when you go to sleep so that it's completely dark, you can adjust the volume on the alarm, you can turn off the alarm and use only the simulated sunrise to wake up, etc etc. I personally like the bird song alarm the best. I also love the light. It basically doubles as a bedside lamp/ambient light. There are so many different colors and you can change the brightness too. Overall great quality. My one complaint is that the temperature display seems to be completely wrong and I have no idea how to change that. But it's alright because I just choose to display the date instead of the temperature.
