Wheel slid past retention clip after 6 uses
After six cycles in my dryer, the wheel slid past the triangular retention clip to the end of the pulley shaft, causing the belt to slip off and the drum to stop spinning. The bolt hole is jagged - had to bend some of the edge away from the hole to allow the bolt to pass through. I'm going to buy the idler made by Samsung from Appliance Parts Pros and hope it's better than this one and the original pulley the dryer came with.

Heads or tails if you get a newer design one.
Ordered this based on the review that it was the ball bearing design, the one I received was not. It was the same as the original grease slide design that does not last. Used it anyway as I already my dryer apart. Not looking forward to having to replace again in the near future.

May as well replace the belt also while you are in this deep.
Samsung Dryer was 10 years old.The original idler pulley shaft was worn and the dryer produced a low rumbling like a sports shoe was in the dryer. Replacing this assembly removed that rumble. The only negative about the assembly was that the lubricating grease was a glob on the back side of the nylon roller. I took the snap triangle off, pasted the glue onto the shaft under the location the roller would seat and re assembled. Likely this would have been 5 stars if lubrication would have been correctly located on the shaft.Side Note - This is the first time inside this dryer and the fan had a lot of lint in the blades. After cleaning the fan the air movement should increase by about 50% with the new roller, no more rumble.Replacing the drive belt and lubrication of the 4 support rollers with Dupont krytox hopefully will give me many more years of service. I know there is a big debate about lubrication or no lubrication.....

Good fit for Samsung electric.
Worked well for a Samsung electric. Highly recommend pulling the plastic retaining triangle and adding a good grease to the spindle. The grease they use is designed to break down over time (same as factory).

Works Great for PN DC96-0082D as Well!
I called Sears to repair my dryer and after paying the $100 service fee was told by the technician that the idler pulley was bad and that they no longer made this part (PN DC96-0082D) and that there was no superseded part. I just could not accept that there were no options, so I began my search online. I found this PN DC96-0082C and figured what the heck... for around $20 I could order the part with the belt and give it a shot myself. I received the parts, found a video on Youtube and replaced the pulley and my dryer is now running great. Next time I will avoid Sears and save myself $100!!

DIYers don't be shy fixing a dryer is not that complicated
I researched on youtube and followed the instructions. For the most part dryers are pretty straight forward. This is heavy duty and worked perfectly. I did have to take the entire unit apart and remove the drum so I could get at it and then replace the belt. No issues other than working in tight space putting belt on properly after re-installing drum. Thanks, saved me a significant amount of money to fix a Garage Sale dryer for my son.

Perfect fit. Replaced because my dryer was squeaking
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Perfect fit. Replaced because my dryer was squeaking. Took the dryer apart initially to lube the pulley to find out it was worn way down. Replaced with this pulley and now the dryer sounds amazing. Very easy install, whole thing took roughly 40 minutes. Save yourself $80 pro install, plus you get to clean out the inside of the dryer. Definitely recommend this product.

worked well for about 6 months then had to re-grease
easy replacement fit perfectly - did not get the new design, still old design that relies on grease to spin - this wears down the plastic - or in my case it caused the plastic wheel to seize and the belt fell off. I took the dryer apart again and was able to clean the inner part of the pulley that was now sticky. Added wd40 for now to get it running again. Will order a new replacement as I would guess this fix will not last too long and have on hand to replace again. Going to search options.

Failed after a month, screw seat very rough
Installed about a month ago - I noticed the seat around the screw hole was very rough and didn't allow the arm to move freely when the screw was tightened all the way, unlike the original part. I thought it might loosen over time under spring pressure, so I tightened the screw anyway.Worked until today - the plastic wheel had worked it's way off its metal bearing, past the retaining clip ( which isn't there for that purpose, by the way ) and the arm had seized. The belt had fallen between the wheel and the arm. Not sure if one failure caused the other. For now I pounded the bearing back into the plastic wheel ( which seemed surprisingly easy to do...) , and used the original arm that didn't have the rough screw seat and "new" wheel to get the dryer going again. I hope when it fails again the arm will move and hit the deadman switch this time.Sorry, no pictures, ( put the dryer back together quickly, laundry piling up! ) but I did see some pix of the same failure by other reviewers on amazon.com.It is possible I did something wrong in the installation, but I don't think it should have failed this way.So, I'm off to find a Samsung part instead of this OEM version.TL;DR: Screw seat was rough and the plastic wheel worked its way off its bearing after a month of use.

... been a couple of weeks and it is working like a charm
It's been a couple of weeks and it is working like a charm.I would caution. The videos on YouTube that describe the process do not describe how difficult it is to get the belt back around the motor and pulley... BE VERY PATIENT AND CAREFUL.it is possible and with enough care and tries u will get it back on and save your self a couple hundred dollars in repairman costs

Good Quality and Price
Bought this for Samsung Dryer that had Pulley bearing that crapped out. It seams to be a good quality and has lasted for over 6 months in the dryer so cant complain and for the price its a home run.

No more squeaks!
After attempting to clean the old pulley, soon realized it was in need of replacement. Ordered this item and with the aid of a How to video on YouTube, had this new part in. It's been in for almost 4 weeks and the dryer runs like new again. Ordering parts from Amazon is always easier, local parts shops tend to cater to the service repair folks.

Did the trick
Worked like a charm on our Samsung 2015. We haven’t had any issues since we installed it. The noise is finally gone and it’s working like it should be 😀
