My 13 year old grandson has almost outgrown toys but he had a lot of fun with this toy at our Christmas celebration. He learned how to throw it pretty quickly, but there was a learning curve, which is how I know it is also durable! It kept him busy for quite awhile!

This flying orb ball is great fun. It charges easily and quickly. There is a bit of a learning curve, but once you master it, it floats high and freely. We used it as you would a frisbee, tossing it to a partner and doing your best to catch it. With each toss your not sure how high or which direction it will actually go which makes the ball even more fun. Adults and teens alike enjoy it. The lights are a bonus, especially in the dark. FYI: toss easily, with propeller facing the palm of your hand, and it will soar.

I LOVE this thing! It's great to teach kids how to catch a ball and track it. Hand eye coordination is huge when kids are growing, and this thing doesn't disappoint. I just can't figure out how to turn it off once it's on, and the battery doesn't last but for a few minutes.

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. It took us a long time to learn how to control this ball. It was fun to play with but it did leave purple marks on several of my walls where it hit. This toy will be more fun to play with outside when the weather is warmer. Also don’t play with this near anything breakable like lamps.

Purchased 3 of these for my grandsons couple days ago. After 15-20mins of playing with the orb one of them came in crying with the center piece broken and the orb no longer working I found it was cracked. The boys are only 9 yrs old and they were playing in the yard (no cement) I'm hopeful the other 2 will hold up. Because they don't live with me I was unable to return them. I am left with the broken one and wil purchase something else for the younger grandson as I gave the other to the one that broke.

This makes my dog go crazy , he absolutely loves chasing after it.

Bought a different kind of the start, this one is the best hand flying drone I’ve found. Actually follows along in the air nicely, and bumps with your hand without going out of control. Great Christmas present for a 7 year old.

Purchased for my 13 year old nephew, he loved it, loads of fun.

Bought 4 of these for Christmas gifts. They were great. The kids loved them.Sadly, 1 of them just quit working after a couple hours. No amount of charging made it move again. Only lights come on now.I shop early, so obviously can’t return it, so I ordered a new one at a higher price.Hope the other 3 last longer.

First thing first, absolutely do not buy this toy if your kid has long hair, it will be a disaster waiting to happen! If you kid has long hair then make sure they tie it in a pony tail. The ball is basically a big, self balancing fan - the gaps around the ball are big enough that hair will get stuck in the fan and get wrapped around the motor. Not only will it terrify your kid but you will have to cut all their hair off. So yeah, be careful.With that out of the way, this is a super fun toy. It is a bit hard to learn how to do things, and the motor doesn't last too long - but this feels like a toy from the future! Definitely captures your kids imagination. It's a bit like a modern, future tech yo-yo.
