I am really impressed with this tea, after brewing the tea it has a very strong licorice taste that is very sweet as well. I does have a blood pressure warning on it, however I have had a cup in the afternoon sometimes and used the before and after pressure measurements and no problems found. Checked with my MD who said just don't over do it :-)

The tea smells and tastes like dirt ... until after you've swallowed it. It has a licorice aftertaste. Sadly, I bought a three-pack.

OMG!!! Where do I begin!?!?! This tastes like grass! How do I know? I used to play football and many a time, I found myself face first in the sod with a mouth full of turf! This tea brings bag that memory with every sip! Even the smell reminds me of a cut lawn that is starting to decay and mold.. Smell the underside of your lawn mower after it has sat in a hot shed for a week or two and the clumped grass turns black and moldy you'll get a really good idea.I guess I should have known better that's why I gave it 2 stars instead of only 1. But when I read that it was licorice root I was thinking it would taste like, well black licorice.. Oh no it does NOT! Let me add that there is also a weird taste at the back of the tongue much like saccharine does... Hard to explain, but it is fairly unpleasant.I hope this stuff has some health benefits, because I hate wasting money. I'll hold my nose and down it like bad tasting medicine!

Do not even need sugar on this is,sweet by itself. It really makes my throat feel good drinking it and I would purchase it again

It isn't the product's fault that this review isn't better. I didn't realize when I ordered it that people with heart problems and high blood pressure weren't supposed to use it. I had seen a show about it on "Dr. Oz". Looks like he would have warned about any negative effects, doesn't it?

This tea is awesome! Just pure licorice root with great flavor. I'd recommend it to anyone who loves the taste of real licorice.

Nothing wrong with the product other than the taste is awful.
