This is the third of this type of product I have purchased. By far this is the easiest to use, schedule meal times, and the kitties are not scared of it.

I'm not sure if I would trust this when going out of town for a couple of days, but overall it has worked as expected. I bought this specific unit over others because A. I'm feeding wet food, and B. it had an app instead of having to set times on the unit itself. My poor kitty will throw up clear fluid if she doesn't eat about every 5 hours, which makes it difficult for 2 full time working people to feed her properly. This will allow us to set it up to feed her at 7am, 12pm, 5pm, 9pm, and 2am without issue. The app is a bit confusing. It will always say the 2am feed is first. The 7am is skipped because that's when we start it and fill up the feeder. It doesn't matter what number you start with, the feeder just goes to the next slot when it is time. So the 7am will be the open slot that feeds her immediately. You can tell the feeder to go early (I've done this a couple of times when I see her spit up about 30 minutes prior to feeding time), but it will STILL move again. So if I decide to feed her at 430 instead of 5, it will still move at 5pm, which is horribly not ideal, since that is her 9pm feeding. The app will tell you when feeding was successful or if there was an obstruction (it will try again in 60 seconds). But I did run into one random thing - Daylight Saving. My 2am feeding said it was successful but it never actually went, since 2am was suddenly 3am. Easy workaround for it but I hadn't expected that either. Just a hiccup. Onto the unit itself. If you plan on feeding wet food, which I would highly advise (if you feed kibble, you might as well get one of those automatic feeders with the shooters since it's less fussy and you don't need to keep the food cold), then buy an extra cold pack. I'm still waiting on my extra one from China. We're using one and freezing the other and swapping them out every 12 hours. They're very thin, and they will bulge, which makes it hard to snap the feeder in place above it. 1 of them doesn't even last 12 hours because they're so thin. I really wish they would make the unit a bit thicker and make thicker cold packs. The point of this unit is to be able to fill it up once and forget about it, and maybe while feeding commercial cooked wet food would be fine, raw is questionable sitting in there for any length of time. We ended up doing the 7, 12 and 5 as one, and then filling it again for the 9pm and 2am feedings while switching out the cold pack. Also, the plastic construction on the feeder portion makes me sad because ceramic is so much more sanitary; it won't soak up smells or bacteria. The size of the feeder compartments is decent. I'd say whisker fatigue might still be or become an issue for a finicky cat but mine has been okay. In conclusion, it's not a "I'm going on vacation and someone just has to feed them once a day" type situation like I would want or assume to get from a device like this. If they would make thicker cold packs that lasted all day that would fix my concerns. However, being able to feed her at 12pm when no one is home, and at 2am when we are sleeping are game changers for our particular situation. If you feed kibble, don't bother with this; its holy unnecessary.

This feeder is easy to program, it comes with large ice packs that keep the food fresh and the best part is that I can program it for one meal per day so my cat can eat during 5 days with this feeder! The first two meals I put wet food right out the refrigerator and on the other compartments I put dry food. It really works for me and my cat. The only thing it could bother you is that if you have a cat with a flat face it may bother its whiskers, but this is a very good gadget regardless.

Loved the look and weight of the machine. Liked the alert beep for feeding times. Keypad a bit confusing/annoying to use and feeder skipped every other feeding slot no matter what I did. Set for same time each day and it would (daily) go from (empty) slot #1 to #3 to #5 and back to #1 meaning only (2) pre-filled feeding slots (instead of five) opened. I did NOT use the app on phone. I ONLY used it manually via keypad. I contacted catit (via email numerous times) to see if any trouble shooting would work but they kept asking over and over about the app (how the phone can only be on 2G, etc) even though every single time I emphatically noted I was NOT using the app. Gave up. Wish it worked. Other brands I’ve tried feel flimsier and don’t have alert bell (or don’t have safety device for paws).

Does the job, but not exactly trust worthy. There are several changes/upgrades needed especially for the price this is marked at. Cat can active touch screen and does incessantly, so there need to be a cover over that. When I put in batteries for back up power it lasted less than 12hrs (unheard of!!!). Can't control the rotation in both directions (so when it skips or cat pressed something i have to open it up and replace dish, ie..can't do this remotely). There is no sound control, it always beeps if setting it manually on dish (this drives the cat crazy so he always thinks he is being fed when he hears it). There are not many options for programming food dispensing. Machine has skipped wells/sections when it was time to dispense and there is no way of knowing if it did (the wells should be numbered). Lastly when it was on backup batteries and running low it would make a constant high pitched sound (like a smoke alarm beeping and then constant) and if it dispensed meal it would start to spin stop (could not push any buttons that would work or control it on app) had to unplug and rip out batteries everytime it did this (which was also when it was plugged in). So no, not trust worthy.

It is just what I am looking for! I used to have a simple timing wet food feeder for two cats, but it can only hold 2x2 meals. I purchased 2 of this wifi model, and it works perfect. Both unit sync to accurate time so it will rotate to next meal at exactly same time! The ice pack is not huge and cannot hold super long, but it is much better than nothing. The backup battery design plus directly USB power make it zero worry from power outage. Overall the WIFI model is so far the best wet food feeder in similar design.

A de suite été adoptée par mon chat et par moi. Facile à programmer, à nettoyer et à remplir. Mon chat boulimique mange maintenant sans vomir et en etant moins stressé vu qu'il en a à chaque moment de la journée... Des qu'il entend le plateau tourné il s'y précipite (alors que personnellement je ne l'entend pas forcément 🤭)

El comedero inteligente Catit PIXI ha sido una gran adición para la rutina de mi gato. Lo mejor es la flexibilidad que permite, ya que se pueden programar hasta 6 raciones diarias, adaptándose perfectamente al horario de mi gato incluso cuando no estoy en casa. Me encanta que pueda poner tanto pienso como comida húmeda y, además, añadir sus chuches favoritas, lo cual es genial para variar. La aplicación Catit PIXI es fácil de usar, aunque tuve que asegurarme de que la red Wi-Fi fuera de 2,4 GHz para que funcionara correctamente. ¡Lo configuré todo en cuestión de minutos! Otro punto a favor es el diseño a prueba de gatos, ya que el mecanismo de rotación es sólido y evita que mi gato intente forzar la apertura antes de tiempo. Los packs de hielo que incluye son un extra fantástico, sobre todo para mantener la comida húmeda fresca por más tiempo en los días calurosos. Pros: Programación flexible con hasta 6 raciones al día, aunque no se que gato come 6 veces al día. Compatible con pienso, comida húmeda y chuches. Aplicación intuitiva para controlar el comedero de forma remota. Packs de hielo para mantener la frescura de los alimentos. Mecanismo seguro para evitar "travesuras" felinas. Contras: Solo es compatible con Wi-Fi de 2,4 GHz, algo que puede ser limitante para redes más modernas, pero en la mayoría de los routers tienes opciones para pasar a wifi 4G En resumen, el Catit PIXI ha hecho mi vida más fácil y mi gato está contento con su horario de comidas fijo. ¡Muy recomendable para tus felinos!

Es ist wirklich super toll. 6 Mahlzeiten die Man befüllen kann. Sind zwar nur 2 Akkus dabei,aber die kann man nachkaufen. Funktioniert sehr gut mit dem W lan. Selbst aus Spanien, konnte ich die App bedienen. Kann ich nur empfehlen das Gerät. KATZE ist super zufrieden und bekommt ihre Mahlzeiten. Und ich habe dadurch kein schlechtes gewissen,wenn ich 12 Stunden aus dem Haus bin. Sehr lohnenswert

Fajna jakość , niestety nie było mi dane wypróbować gdyż coś nie do końca współgra, niestety jutro wyjeżdżam i bardzo ubolewam bo jestem bez karmidla ;(
