I was born in Naga city, in the Bicol Region where my late grandmother had pili nut trees in her estate. So I grew up eating pilinuts . After harvesting the pilinuts and after taking it out from its hard shell, we eat it raw and unprocessed! It has a very buttery taste.All of us kids love the pilinuts!But when we migrated to the US in 2001,I forgot about this delicious delicacy. I love these! Soft and easy to eat with some pieces having the slightest amount of perfect crunch. The flavor is mild and good, perfect amount of salt, and not greasy. The only issue I have with these is that they are on the pricier side so I can't eat as many all at once as I'd like to... I have a bag on monthly subscribe and save. Highly recommend!

They melt in your mouth after chewing for a minute.they do have a buttery taste to them.

The flavor would be great if you want a mild low carb cashew, but I was hoping for a bit more flavor and crunch.

Nuts seem fresh. First time trying these type of nuts. Never heard of these before. Worth trying. We eat low carb and these are super low carb. But salted were too salty for us.
