This is a very decent tool for $18 (paid in Dec, 2022). No issues at all. Sturdily built, well thought-out design.

A terrible idea for a storage. There are 4 velcro closed pouches in the black case/bag that you have to root out what is inside each pouch and find the die you want. Two dies have to stay outside under the stretch bands or velcro strap, they were floating loose on arrival, just like they will be when you move this around from jobsite to jobsite. It would be better if they just had 6 pouches, a small 6-compartment box instead or a tight blow molded case. This has no wire stripper like others, I have several, but one does need a gauge. Most of the dies are marked only in metric, you need a dual marked wire stripper as a size gauge. On that note, only a few AWG sizes match the metric system, better be checking crimps for tightness (metric a little bigger than the closest AWG). Now I need to buy a fabric pen to write on the pouches. Comes with no cheat sheet for the die uses. BTW, Knoweasy sells tools and they have more than this.

I purchased this CRIMPING TOOL and yes (IT DID) crimp perfect. I was crimping 16 gauge heat shrink butt connectors and about the 110th CRIMP, the (CRIMP TOOL) went into (FAILURE MODE). I tried to adjust the crimping pressure but to no avail. I wasted about 20 connectors trying to see what went wrong, although the adjustment wheel did move for more CRIMP PRESSURE, it DID NOT HELP PRODUCE MORE CRIMP PRESSURE…….I AM HOPING, THE SELLER WILL REACH OUT AND WARRANT THIS CRIMPING TOOL.

Seems to be high quality and do what they are supposed to do... If you do not know what they are, then you won't be able to use them... But if you do any electrical work involving crimping, these are a good tool to have.

I've found that this works well with blue and yellow crimp connectors, but not so well with the smaller red ones. Personal choice, but for those it's better for me to just use electricians pliers for crimping.

As described in write up, and pictures. I waited too long to get it. Makes a nice, even crimp leaving the joint look very professional. Crimps insulated connectors from 22 to 8 AWG.Good value for the price. I recommend this item.
