ManfrottoMTPIXI-B PIXI Mini Tripod, Black, Bundled with A ZAYKiR Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter

Another quality Manfrotto product.

I received the Manfrotto MTPIXI-B Mini-Tripod earlier today, so I’ve only had a short time to check it out. With that said, here’s what I’ve noticed so far.1) The little black and red, ball head release button is pretty stiff, but it does effectively release and/or lock the head in place;2) The ball head is also stiff, and it feels a bit gritty when being moved into position, but it does pivot and, when in the locked position, it seems to hold securely;3) The three legs have to be fully extended, in order to maintain a stable position;4) The tiny rubber grips affixed to the bottom of the three legs, do seem to prevent the tripod from slipping. But, since several other reviewers have noted that the rubber grips tend to fall off, I’m going to apply a little bit of “super” glue around the edges of the grips, in the hope that this will keep them in place;5) The included ZayKir Model C4 Smartphone Tripod Adapter attaches to the MTPIXI tripod, via the standard 1/4” screw mount. The ZayKir securely holds my iPhone 8, in either the vertical or horizontal position.According to the sticker attached to one of the tripod legs, this tripod was “designed in Italy” but the mount screw base indicates that it was “Made in China.” Since it only took two days to receive it from Amazon, via standard shipping, I know it wasn’t shipped from China, even if it was made there.The only other concern I have is that the stiff plastic, heat-sealed, blister pack that the tripod arrived in had been torn open.Overall, so far, I’m satisfied with both the Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod, and the ZayKir smartphone mount.

I purchased a point & shoot Canon G7x Mark ii for business vloggs and was worried about my clumsiness dropping the $650 camera because I'm holding it a bit awkward in reverse when trying to vlogg by myself. So I knew that I needed some sort of handle accessory to help me grip and maneuver the camera better. Well I found this guy. And I highly encourage you to also get smart phone holder they offer with it. I've used both the smart phone holder and the trip semi-daily since I purchased them. It's easy to be gentle with my camera now that I have this small tripod to mount to it.As soon as this one breaks, I will jump on Amazon to purchase it again.

The media could not be loaded.  This mini tripod is so much more useful than other mini tripods that I have. It can be used for selfies, and is also adjustable for any angle that you might want to take pictures from. If you use your phone to take pictures, videos, or selfies, the bonus adapter is very useful. It adjusts to any phone width and can be used in horizontal or vertical modes. You can also adjust the angle of the phone or camera.I obviously couldn't use this tripod for my review, but I will be using it for future review videos. I love the versatility and available adjustments of this mini tripod.

Picked this up for small setups for my iPhone and Canon SL2. Overall very happy with the build quality. I love the ball head movement, and the phone holder is solid and I have no fear of my phone dropping out. Only thing I would like to see changed is the legs a bit more stiff. Sometimes the all out base for the tripod is to low (gives a solid foundation when out) and I want it up slightly higher. Would be nice to have a mid way 'stop' to raise this up slightly. Still though, a great product and I'm very happy with the purchase.

Bought this to use with my iPhone XM. Absolutely perfect for the job. Small, lightweight and sturdy enough to do the job for many years. I especially like the fully adjustable iPhone holder. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The mount is plenty big enough to take the iPhone XM. It uses a completely adjustable screw screw system to securely hold the phone rather than springs. The tiny is very stable and materials used are quality. The ball is easy to adjust and when locked in place it’s very secure. The whole setup looks, feels and operates like a quality tool.

I use it all the time. The Manfrotto tripod is small enough to fit in my pants pocket and I have used it to take food pictures at restaurants since it is reasonably sized to place it on the table.The Universal Smartphone ZAYKiR phone adapter is "ok" I would have liked a higher quality or a quick release type device instead of the screw based holder. But it works and allows me to take vertical and horizontal photos, handsfree.
