Good wires
I don't normally take time to write reviews but because there's so many contradicting reviews I thought I'd share my experience. These wires ARE the correct size. I matched them up to the old ones 1 by 1 and installed them one at a time so I knew where they were going. This was on a 99 VW Beetle 2.0.I was having a problem with the car jumping very badly and would not accelerate. When I'd pull out it would jump and skip and struggle to get to 40 mph. Once I got it to 55 or 60 it felt pretty normal. I put new spark plugs in hoping that was it but it didn't help. I was going to buy a used car to replace the Beetle because I didn't want to pay for expensive repairs on a car with 270,000 miles. But my father suggested trying new wires. I didn't think it would help but I bought them to give it one last try. I'm glad I did. The car drives much better and no more jerking and skipping (knock on wood). Also, my check engine light that has been on for years is no longer lit.

Fits 2001 VW Jetta 2.0L
Works great and DOES fit a 2001 VW Jetta 2.0L 4Cyl. However, as others have noted wires 1 and 2 are substantially shorter than the factory wires and cannot be installed the same way. To install them you must route them without the original bracket mounted cable guides and wire 1 must go under the intake manifold. They can be secured with wire and the free hanging factory cable clips with a little creativity. Despite these issues I give it 5 stars since they are MUCH cheaper than the alternatives on Amazon and especially for those available by Prime. Also, comes with a small tube of dielectric grease so it saves you having to buy a whole bottle for one wire job.

Clean, tight fit
I installed these on my 2000 VW Beetle. I was at first concerned that #4 was short but it fit nicely. All four lines routed pretty flat behind the intake manifold. This, plus new spark plugs, and the engine is running like it doesn't have 255k miles on it.

Make sure they fit!!!
I bought these for my 2001 VW Golf 2.0L AZG, however they did not fit. At the time I bought them there was also another NGK set listed that I think probably fit. I ended up buying the Bosch set that I believe is OEM and it fit perfectly. I believe this set might fit earlier 2001 models. On my engine the #1 and #2 wires are a lot longer. Pay careful attention to the length of these two wires in the pictures. There is quite a difference. I hope that this helps someone.

... with them this passed year because it was a good deal at the time
So I bought these along with the plugs to go with them this passed year because it was a good deal at the time. I finally got around to doing it and getting the new plugs in when I realized that two of my wires weren't even long enough to reach. The new 3 and 4 wires were fine, they were actually longer then my old ones that needed to be replaced. It was wires 1 and 2 that were more then an 1" too short, so either I got the one bad set or this company has no idea how to measure, because I did my research and these were the wires I needed but yet they're too short.

Good price quality and fitment.
These fit one of those VW engines where the spark plug is down at the bottom of a deep hole and an expensive specialty tool is required, which does not work with some wire sets. Everything went just fine, as the quality and fit are there in spades. I miss the days when simply changing out the spark plug wires was not akin to a surgeon performing a four-way bypass heart surgery.
