You can make 18 Full horses.
I was buying Wiz Kids minis and noticed there are very few horses. I looked for 28mm horses for D&D and ended up buying this set. You will receive six identical sprues. Each half mates with any other right half. You can make 18 total horses. If you make 18 complete horses you will have six horse heads left over.I took my sprues and removed all the parts and put them in a small bin. Laid out the halves and put them together randomly. Head, left half (The left horse half has a surfboard like base underneath attached to the feet), right half, and tail. There is also a basic saddle but I will put it on last after the horse is painted. I glued them together with dollar store super glue. They have gray auto primer on them. I will paint them eventually with acrylic model paint. The basic saddles are going to be painted separately and will be glued on or be left as removable. The scale for D&D is decent and they will work well as young horses or ponies. DnD characters have a 1" base but the scale is somewhat exaggerated in some miniatures. In the picture there are Nolzur's Marvelous Minis for size comparison if you want to play with DnD. These won't be giant fantastic stallions in the game but smaller breeds that can hold a up to a medium sized rider. They are good quality and easy to put together. Very smooth fit. 18 horses took me 1.5 hours to remove from the sprue and glue together. Then a quick priming. Made in USA.

Enough horses to fill a stable.
They really weren't horsing around with this release. Great sculpts, great price, great box art; it hits the trifecta of miniature purchasing. Weather you need some calvary for your elves, or just a few equines milling about in a diorama, it's well worth the paltry sum to pony up for. This set us a total whiiiiiiiner!
