Best hammer I ever used. It looks heavy but it’s lighter than almost every other hammer out there in framing. First time I used it, I felt bad for the nails. Lol. If you don’t like this hammer you don’t kno how to swing a hammer.

Highly recommend for carpenters of all experience level

Except for the magnet falling out the first week its been a good hammer. Been using it daily framing houses for over a year and its been working great. The big head takes a little getting used to and its hard to nail in some tight spots because of it. If the magnet stayed in I'd give it 5 stars.

It’s a hammer. It hammers. What else can I say? The ESTWING AL‑PRO is solid, lightweight, and feels great in the hand. The balance is nice, the grip is comfortable, and it gets the job done without any fuss. If you just need a reliable hammer that works every time you pick it up, this one delivers.

Swings good. Drives nails great. Same estwing handle vibration as the standard 22/28 oz hammers. The claw design is less than ideal, doesnt pull bigger nails ver well

Hammer is worth every penny. Ever since I received it I haven’t touch another hammer since. From the dead blow tech in the hammer head to how light it is overall really showcases how easy you can swing it and drive nails with ease. The grip is excellent and nail starter works great. The only improvement would be a side nail puller

Great driving power, comfortable grip. Just wish it had a side nail puller, like stiletto

The hammer is very nice to use, however within 3 weeks of use the claw started to rattle loose, and the thread is damaged on one of the 2 bolts holding it on. Amazon, estwing international and our local importers all weren’t able to help or fix the problem so I will have to try glue now. I wouldn’t buy another, which is quite unfortunate as I was very happy with the hammer before the claw came loose.

Nice weight, hammer works well. Feels like an estwing, unlike other hammers I've tried out. Claw a little shorter than a standard framing hammer. The last hammer I'll use before retirement?

Without a doubt absorbs vibrations! Head is large so I find it great for framing but not the finer things but you might find it different. It’s a great hammer

At first, I was a little concerned with the aluminum being too soft. As most of you know, scaffolders are REALLY hard on our gear. Out of the box, it seems really heavy, more than it’s 14 ounces. Happy to report, after swinging it for 12 hrs, I can’t be any happier with my purchase. Lightweight, delivers a concentrated hit with minimal scarring on the aluminum from deflection and side hitting.
