Helped make my steering more steady.
I have a 1997 Chevy Silverado 5.7 C1500. This was a great addition to my vehicle due to the notorious sloppy steering, and EVO sensor failures in the OBS. A picture illustration was included, showing how to assemble the stabilizer properly. Within 15 minutes I had it installed and ready & Right away I noticed my steering heavier but manageable. After a few weeks now I have gotten used to it and it feels great having able to minimize bump steer & excessive steering wheel wander On drive’s. Definitely worth the money.Word of the wise. This will not cure the alements of the Chevy OBS. However, it does lesson some of the issues as mentioned above.From the research I have found, if you replace the steering box with a blue head or a red head steering box, along with a kryptonite drag linkage set “1100$” with a Pitman arm, they make and also get high quality idler support and idler arm, replace the rag joint. & then Allegedly you’ll make the steering better than factory. But do your own research.
