Moment Case for Google Pixel 2 XL - 6ft Drop Protection and Strap Attachment Black

Moment usually creates somewhat thick cases for iOS devices but the ones for the Pixel phones I find not to be that thick. It’s great that you get a pretty sturdy case who will protect against the most usually accidental drops plus the ability to use their lenses.

This is probably the most comfortable feeling case I've owned and looks very minimalistic. It's also grippy as well. The buttons are a little bit hard to press but it still feels natural. Doesn't offer much protection in the charging port area but I guess that's so that you can use Google assistant and to take the case out easily which I have a similar case on my old S9+ but it's a pain to remove the case😂 Also a good unboxing experience if you're into that kind of stuff like me. Would definitely recommend you to buy this case if you're minimalistic and love the color black🖤

I was up with some insomnia one night and came across just a review of the case, not a case+lens or a lens review.Intrigued by the novelty and appeal of the wood, enticed by the not too ridiculous price, my sleep deprived brain said "DO IT."This is such a good case.First, it's not too thick at all, and feels good in the hand. The TPU outside feels like rubber and is plenty grippy. The wood was very smooth at first, but the grain on the veneer gets some texture after a few days of use.I didn't change the ActiveEdge squeeze sensitivity and it still registers all the time in the case. While I can find the power and volume buttons and have zero problem pressing them, I can very much see how others might not. They're not flush, but the raise is very slight.I liked the case so much I went ahead and got a wide angle lens. Also blown away by that as well.But even without the lens, this is a remarkably well-made case.

All around excellent case. The texture of the canvas and the rubber feels very nice, and (more importantly) keeps my phone from slipping out of my pocket when I sit down. The wrist strap hook is a nice addition, and being able to attach a moment lens with a quick twist is really cool. The side buttons are just prominent enough to be able to feel them without looking, but not enough to get caught on my pocket. My favorite part though is that it fits into my dji osmo gimbal without having to take the phone out of the case. I wish there were a few color options, but as it spends most of it's time in my pocket, I don't think that's enough to knock a star off for. This case is legit and worth the money, even if you don't have any interest in the lenses (though I would recommend checking out the lenses. They are pretty damn cool).

Great case. The rubber is thick but not too bulky and feels like it really protects the phone. The canvas on the back of the phone is is awesome. It just looks really nice and feels great. There is no visible stitching or fraying around the area in which the canvas meets the rubber. It has held up really well in the few days I've had the phone. The only thing I don't like about it is that the bottom of the phone is exposed. The corners are covered but I'd feel better if the case itself protected the entire phone. Bottom included. I don't have anything to say about Moment Lenses or how they work with this phone. I just bought this case because it looks awesome.

It smelled horrible for the first two weeks of owning it. It reeked. It also made my hands feel gritty and smell. I felt like I had to wash my hands every time I was done holding my phone. Both the rubber of the case, and the coating on the canvas back smelled and had some residue on them.I'm glad I held out though, because after two weeks of wear the smell has mostly gone away and it no longer makes my hands feel dirty, dry and gritty after holding. Mostly. The lenses fit nicely into the case, the case is thick, should protect the phone well from drops, and the front lip on the case is great for keeping the screen from touching dirty surfaces and being scratched. If there were a third option to the phone with no extra backing material I would have purchased it over the wood and the canvas.

This is a replacement for my original one. I had my phone in my back pocket with the lens on. I sat down. The lens broke the plastic on the case and fell off. Glad the case broke instead of the lens, but its still a pain in the ass (no pun intended). Not sure if they should reinforce the case or keep as a break away option. I do still recommend Moment cases/lenses. Takes my pictures to a new level!

As a standalone case, it works great overall. Only negative is that the bottom area near the charging port isn't covered. However, dropping the phone would generally not impact this area as the corners (which are protected by this case) would take the brunt of the impact.The buttons all work as expected. I didn't notice any stiffness or require excess pressure--compared to other cases I've used--in order to activate the power or volume up/down buttons as some reviews have noted.Finally, fit and finish are very good. All edges snap into place cleanly and finish looks like it should hold up well over time.
