I purchased this book of stories for my own toddler daughters as well as a present for friends because I appreciate the morals emphasized in these stories. Acceptance of oneself, respect to others, and patience with themselves are some of the morals they can learn from this book which will encourage them to live a better life. This small girl wanted to hear about strong, intelligent women, and this book, while being above her reading ability, was her favorite birthday gift this year. I love the way she comes to me when a question pops up and I enjoy reading the stories with her with my open heart. When you present GIRLS ARE FANTASTIC to any girl, you should expect some new questions from them which are quite normal and it depends on you how to answer them in order to highlight the morals in each story. They are so inquisitive that I can see them open the book in the morning and try to read and grasp phrases. They try to repeat the phrases and morals each day and it is a sign that they love what they're learning. A fantastic book for your daughters to learn about all the amazing females that lived in our world! This is such a cute book, and the cover is thick and textured, giving it a premium look and feel. I doubt if you can find another powerful book like this one with this price. It's one of the greatest books I've ever bought for my kid based on the quality and variety of stories. If you have a little girl at home, you may read these stories to her at night, and after a few years, you can give this book to her as a gift so she can read it again and again. It is quickly becoming one of the most popular bedtime stories for people of all ages. We appreciate the variety in these stories, as well as the obvious message they give to our young girls that they may be both feminine and elegant. We read 2 to 5 stories every day for the first several weeks of owning it, at the request of our girls! It is still one of their all-time favorites. It's also a good time for the transition from shortboard books to larger stories that she can connect with. There are inspirational stories about adventure, standing out, working hard, and so forth. I'm going to buy this book for every girl I know!

When this book came, I was astounded by its size and elegance. When I first opened it, the most difficult choice was selecting where to begin reading. Each story in the book is significant and well-written. I wish this book had been around when I was younger. But it was not late for me to start reading and sharing these stories with my daughter each night before sleep or when we are eating breakfast. What I find so significant about this book is that they address social concerns that assist and offer context for their accomplishments, so you learn more about the particular era and can truly appreciate their impact. As an adult, I've been inspired by each of the role models in the book and am learning with my kid. They offer something more than just a story to sleep with to the kids, something that empowers features like confidence, kindness, love, and strength. Perhaps more significantly, it has involved us in meaningful talks that I would not have had with a kid so young, such as how individuals adapt to difficulty or overcome the limits imposed by society. My elder sons have developed an interest in the book as well, and it is essential for them to hear the stories as well. With a little spare time, we find each day in the car or in the kitchen, we are free to discuss the stories and it is touching my heart looking at my daughter with such a curiosity that she had never before. What a wonderful book to read with a child and an adult. This is a book that I believe every school should have. It offers a lot of important concepts in simple language that youngsters can grasp. This book's affirmations are what all youngsters should think about themselves. The stories are genuine, comprehensive, and not sanitized. Give it to your daughter as a gift, and you'll be amazed at how much of an influence it has on her life. This book helps to put into perspective the key things our children need to know about themselves. It's a book that's simple to read and use at home. I strongly advise you to get this and read it to your children at least twice a week with the hope that it can impact their life just within a little time and money invested.

The only colour is the outside cover. Black and white cheap paper. 5 year old was not excited!

A very detailed and fantastic piece of work. A must have for every young female out there. There is just so much to learn from this book. The short stories are compiled to perfection. A perfect character building book I must say.
