316L Surgical Steel Spring Action Captive Bead Ring CBR 2G 4G 6G 8G 0G 00G

I bought this 6g 5/8 (16mm) ring and I'm very happy with appearance and easy to insert. No problem with the balls once seated properly. It took me a few tries to pop the ball in place, but I got used to it quickly. Great packaging. I would recommend this. I will probably buy again.

Update 1/2022 - I have sized-up my PA with this same model ring from 8ga-6ga-4ga and now 2ga. All have been great and trouble free. At 2ga this is really comfortable and I like the weight. Not too little, not too much. Just right. It looks good and gets noticed. It is also very pleasurable at all times but especially when getting busy. This is the second Rufian spring loaded ring I have purchased. The unique spring design makes it easy to insert, remove and change without tools. No problem with the balls once seated properly. I use these in my PA and they are comfortable and look great. Very easy to remove and out back in. Update: I have moved from 8ga to 6ga to 4ga in my PA with these spring fit rings. They have all been great. When moving down in gauge (up in size) the spring ball becomes a key element if you need to take it out as the metal is obviously stronger. I have not had any problems with these rings. They look great and are easy to fit and remove without tools.

I really love these hoops. I'm currently in the process of stretching my ears but they're being stubborn and I'm stuck at a 6g. I didn't want to continue to only wear plugs because the bands that hold them in place limit airflow which will only slow healing further and makes cleaning more difficult. I like the spring loaded ball which makes these much easier to put in and remove than a standard captive ball ring. The edges are fairly smooth so they go in easily. They have some weight to them and appear well made and to my surprise came in these little decent quality pouches for easy storage. Obviously I'm wearing them in my ears and not for say a prince albert. I probably would not recommend them for that because as others have said the opening is quite small. Only as wide as the ball. So they're perfect for ears or a septum but if you're intending to use it for a thicker area you might struggle to get them in. I would definitely buy them again in the next size up when I get there. Hope this review is helpful to others that are considering buying them. I will try to update if I run into any issues with tarnishing or the spring release mechanism but so far so good.

Excellent product, well made, fits well, looks and feels great! Spring-loaded bead spring not too strong as to making insertion and removal difficult but strong enough to keep the bead in place through a variety of circumstances. It is made from surgical stainless steel, completely non-magnetic, completely smooth and polished, and able to be covered in a variety of liquids both biological and synthetic without pitting, scarring, staining. The price is extremely reasonable and the ring and bead will last many, many years to come. Thanks for excellent craftsmanship and aesthetics!

Great piece, true to size but just be aware if you’re buying for ears it only comes with one! I didn’t check thoroughly enough and was super disappointed when I saw it only came with one.

really smooth and comfortable as a PA ring. Captive bead feels secure. I will say this however....getting that bead into the spring bar hole was NOT the easiest thing in the world. Just take a some time and you'll get it seated securely.

i need to go to urgent care due to the captive bead rusting out and refusing to come out. captive bead rings with springs are trash. do not buy.
