I actually use this in my bathroom because I hate fumbling for the light switch at night. This is a good quality light that I've had for several months now and the battery still hasn't died. And since it's in the bathroom it also handles humidity pretty well and still works. It has a really good motion detection that turns it on as soon as I walk in the bathroom.

I wish more people would read the descriptions through. Therefore this review is more to counter pointless negative input with my positive experiences with these lamps. I buy the "square orange".I love these lamps. I've bought 5 over several years. I marvel at how long lasting the batteries work in motion sensor mode.I absolutely love the soft glow of light they emit, it is perfect for my senses as I do not use and abhor overhead crass lighting. It is meant to provide enough light to see where you're going without lighting up and entire room. It is especially perfect for night when too much light is garish and harsh on the eyes and senses.I only use ambient lighting and in areas I need to light up dark corners.I use these specifically for light going on where I need it and when I need it. I do not and would not keep them on all night, that would obviously eat batteries and its pointless if no one is around to need the light.Using these for their intended purpose works perfectly.I keep it on motion sensor in my dressing closet, so the light goes on when I walk in, and my movements in dressing keep it on and then it goes off when I leave. I have not changed batteries in a year using it this way.I have one in my sauna that I keep on the "on" switch to stay lit while I'm in there, around 40 minutes. Again the soft glow is beautiful. Then I switch it off. This one also only after a year did I have to change batteries.I have one in my shower which I switch to "on" while I'm in there, then switch to off. This one also in a year have not yet changed batteries.One died but that was my own fault, it got wet.In another house I kept one by the stairs to light up night trips in a dark hallway, it goes on when I need and off when I dont. Though in that house the light went on all the time when no one was even moving around there. I moved out. Now that one works as it should. :DThese are intended to light up a moment when you need it and to go off when you don't. I love them and will continue to use them.

Like where you can switch as motion or stay on. Litght shines bright so the yellow lite is good if you don't want too much lite if you do white is best.In motion it goes off fast...I did return it only because I found one better for my need. But it a good light. might order another one later.

I've had this nightlight for a couple of weeks now and I am thrilled with it! The motion sensor works perfectly and I haven't needed to change the batteries yet. I keep it in the hallway and at night it lights up the instant I step out of my bedroom. It gives off just the right amount of light, so it's super helpful! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

I placed this at the top of our stairs so we can see enough to turn on the light easily when it's dark out. It provides the perfect amount of light and goes off in less than a minute, perfect for our use. It's cute and fits with my decor and I haven't yet had to change batteries. it's a win!

I use this type of motion light sensor for a small hallway bathroom, and want the light to come on AT THE DOOR to light up the way to the toilet at night. The previous model I had worked fine for almost 5 years, then died despite new batteries. I ordered this item because it was prettier and slightly smaller. However, no matter where I placed it in the bathroom, it didn't trigger until you had almost reached the toilet...totally dark until then, which isn't what was needed. I am returning it and going to order the same model as before, even though it is slightly more expensive, slightly bigger, and definitely less elegant.

We have a bunch of these. They look so nice with a warm glow just bright enough to light up the way. Like a lantern. Can turn them Off/On/Motion via an outside switch. Motion works only in the dark. It has a wide detection that works perfectly for us. I tried using one outside in the rain but the battery compartment got wet from the underside up and the battery terminals rusted. Would probably work fine if installed on taller feet or on a center dowel pedestal but really, it isn't built for outside usage.The light produced is not enough to read by, for sure, but plenty to cast a soft glow in a 12 foot by 15 foot room (4 meters by 5 meters). The batteries last a long time. I use rechargables.

Von der Bestellung bis zur Lieferung ist alles so wie es angesagt war geliefert worden. Es waren 3 verschiedene Produkte die in einem Päckchen geliefert wurden, welches ich prima finde. Lampen funktionieren einwandfrei... aufgestellt bei mir im Flur.

These are made of cheap plastic that I would expect to find in a shop like Poundland. Not worth £19.99
