BoschRS006 Hose Adapter for Various Sanders

Works great and absolutely reduces the amount of dust from the sander. Wish I bought this earlier.

Does a good job adapting small vacuum hose to sander and extracting sandint dust. I tied the adapter to the handle of the sander with some innertube strips to keep the weight of the hose from damaging it.

I can sand indoors using this hooked up to a shop vac which saves a lot of time not having to move work in and out of the shop to the outdoors to sand.These adapters work, but have a tendency to break on the shoulder where the clips are. Once you cant clip it on the sander, it isn't worth a whole lot. I'm being a lot more careful with this one. So far so good. I connect it to my shop vacuum with a Rockler Auxiliary FlexiPort Hose Port, 3/4'' I.D. x 1-1/4'' O.D and hose.. You could also rig up something with duct tape I'm sure.

I'd considered trying to engineer and 3d print something for this but this price made it a no brainer.The original "dust collector" box for these sanders is highly inadequate.Not only does the sander seem to really not send much air volume through the device, it clogs (collector box) easily and doesn't stay on well.I had to lubricate the gasket with dishsoap and heat the fixture slightly to get it on, meaning that the mounting is infallible.The backside of the fixture has holes which I assume are to stabilize the level of vacuum to the vacuum source. (Vacuums don't do well with restriction upstream and typically, can only have the flow metered downstream, without damaging the motor)I plan on working with the size of these orifices if I find the need be.

Bought for my Bosch sander. Total junk; thin, hard plastic. Not at all like the other Bosch attachments. Side hook tabs are hard plastic and broke almost immediately as they are designed to flex but the cheap, thin plastic does not yield and immediately snaps. Side hooks also not long enough to grab the tabs on the side of the tool. Oval also about 1.5 mm too small, making it impossible to fit over the rubber o-ring on the dust outlet of the tool. It’s like this was designed as a test piece for initial manufacturing trial (cheap plastic, non-fitting parts). For some reason they decided to put it into production.

This is overall a good product and fits my Bosch DA sander just fine. The problem is that my shop vac nozzle tube doesn't fit this adapter. Their tube diameters are roughly the same size, therefore one doesn't mate to the other. You know why standards are great? Because there are so many of them!

This is the only adapter that works with my two Bosch sanders. Unfortunately the hose connection end is sized for a Bosch vacuum hose. I then have ave to use another size change adapter to hook up to my hoses.

This adapter works perfectly for attaching my dust collection system to my random orbit sander. Now when I sand there is very little dust left over!I wish I could give it five stars because it does work very good, but the clips thst hold it to the sander both popped off after the first use. I wasn't removing and reatraching it over and over. I wasn't yanking the hose everywhere. I was just sanding one area and the vibrations made them break off one at a time. Without these clips it will not stay attached to the sander without the use of duck tape. So to keep from having to tape it over and over again I have to leave my sander attached to the adapter. I could have used a little more duck tape and a regular piece of pvc.In short. It got the job done, but if I had to use duck tape I could have done the job anyway.

Fits snugly onto my 3725DEVS sander! The end is smaller than what I was hoping, but I taped some cardboard around it and it fit nicely into a 35mm adapter.
