Best "standard package scope ever"
I have 6 of these. 4 mounted on scope killing Hatsan 125 magnum springers and 2 on Hatsan Vortex edge rifles. They are a huge improvement over the standard 4 x 32 that comes on most packages. One of my 125's managed to kill it one in about a week. Hatsan sent me a new one quickly. They other 5 are holding up just fine. Great company and customer service. If you want a real treat take a look at the other Hatsan scopes with AO lenses. They are value priced and work incredibly well.I have had good results with all my Hatsan scopes. I mounted one on a Remington for a while to test out the rifle. The original 4 x 32 scope that came with the Remington was beyond useless.

Great for a .22 rifle
For the price a great scope for rimfire caliber rifles.

Clarity needs some work.
Scope adjusts accurately, holds zero for the most part on a Gamo raptor whisper. From 3-7x the clarity is acceptable I guess but at 9x it’s hard to read my license plate at 50yds. Wish I had not went so cheap in my purchase an got a better scope.

Optima 3x9x40 scope
Would buy again no problems yet have shot over 1,000 .22 cal pellets off a Gamo whisper break barrel piston rifle

Hatsan is an excellent value!
Hatsan is quality. I absolutely love their products. Clear lens great zoom that is not overstated.Yeah I traded my vortex for this one and I am beyond happy. I highly recommend optima or Hatsan products. I'm getting quality quality optics at a lower price than say a vortex scope.I've had other Hatsan Scopes I've used them and they zero quickly and remain zeroed.Plenty beefy enough to stand the double recoil action of an air rifle.here's a little trick that I do look at the scope from the other end not the end that you would normally view out of but the opposite end. from there generally you can see how cleanly the scope was manufactured. Using this test alone there was no difference between this and the $225 vortex.

WORTH THE MONEY!
I put this on my grandpa's old marlin 22lr. It stays zeroed with good eye relief and sight picture. Mounts and hardware seem strong.

Cannot hold zero, sight picture became inconsistent
Installed on an multi-pump air rifle.Scope works well once zeroed. But kept getting weird off-target shots at different distance. Realized that if you change magnification, the zero changes, quite significantly. Maybe it was more of the refocus with magnification change. Something between the magnification change and focus adjustment changes the zero. You'll need to re-zero at the new magnification level and with new focus.Update: After a few more days of use, the shots started going everywhere whenever you change zoom, focus, or even distance of target. Returning.
