Item looks good and has a good weight to it which should make for a good stable base for cutting. Unfortunately, having used it, I find that it is slightly bowed and spins when placed on a flat surface making it unstable for chopping and cutting. Not been washed, just given a wipe over. Edit : the seller contacted me and was more than helpful, resolving my issue as swiftly as they were able. Upgraded my rating to 5 stars as the customer service was excellent.

Probably the best chopping board in the World.Well for this price it is.Its a great big board can't wait to carve a large turkey,but it's not only for Christmas this board will last a life time a great investment.its the biggest board I own and I won't be needing a bigger one can't foresee why I would need anything bigger than this gorgeous end grain teak board.Its been well treated on arrival with oil and wax I've shown it above with what I would call a good sized Acacia wood board which I love but this end grain board is in a totally different level.I spent a lot of time sourcing a new board and finally settled on this and I'm so glad I did . If you're in the market for a New Large(and it's large) Chopping board then look no further...So happy ....Just wish I could purchase more Marvelous Wax.

This cutting board is a huge disappointment. It warped and cracked after just a few uses, despite proper care. The wood absorbs too much moisture, stains easily, and holds onto food odors. It’s also rough on knives, dulling them quickly. For the price, I expected durability, but it feels cheaply made. Definitely not worth it.

I love this board. It looks fantastic, and is clearly very well made using high quality materials. I keep it waxed every few days and take care of it so it doesn't dry out after being washed. Other than that it wipes clean easily and barely has any marks after a month of daily use.

Lovely board but description clearly says “ Includes a free Ziruma Marvelous Wax” however I did not receive this hence a star dropped.

Firstly the product is very nice to look at and was a lovely feature in the kitchen, was very spacious to work on. It unfortunately warped and became unusable within a few days of purchase. It now rocks and spins when trying to prepare anything on it. Updated to 5 stars - Like others have mentioned in the reviews, the customer service I received was amazing. I was sent a replacement board with some natural wax and the new board is great.

It’s a really lovely board, but isn’t flat on my granite worktop (slight curve) and therefore rocks (or slides, depending on which way up it is). Size is exactly as described and it’s beautiful, hard wood, resistant to knife marks as wood gets. Marked down 2 stars for the lack of flatness, but otherwise beautiful and resilient. Also, annoyingly, now 20% cheaper than I paid due to Black Friday deal!

Board arrived well packaged, felt solid & looked just the part. Unfortunately after 1 months us the Board is starting to split which is extremely disappointing. Bowled over, I received a replacement Board yesterday, what fantastic service! Changing my feedback to 5 stars now given approach to dealing with issues & Customer Service.

After unboxing it was great, I’ve used only to shot videos no actual cutting or usage after 2 to 3 days it started to get warped and bend, it’s not stable any more on the surface

I'm giving this item five stars even though it came damaged. I ordered this as a gift so it wasn't opened by the recipient within the return window, unfortunately. It was slightly warped and spins on the counter which feels unsafe. I contacted the seller hoping to exchange it, and after providing some information to them, they immediately issued a refund and gave me instructions on repairing the warp so we can still use it. It's a gorgeous cutting board and we are definitely going to try to repair it. It's so sturdy and looks lovely on the counter. I'm giving five stars for incredible customer service and would definitely buy from this seller again. They truly stand behind their products.

Update on the below. I reached out to customer service and they were very understanding and helpful. They offered to both send me a refund and to send a replacement board (a maple hardwood). They even went so far as to offer suggestions for how to fix the warped board. The best customer service I’ve experienced in quite a while. Original review: Unfortunately I’ve had the same experience I’ve seen others have after purchasing this chopping board. Ordered the teak board and within a couple days it has warped immensely making it completely unusable. I can fit three fingers under the gaps caused by the warping. I have reached out to their customer service so hoping it can be resolved with a replacement that is better quality - if that happens I’ll amend my review here.

Product was broken when it arrived. Updating my review- though the board originally came broken I was able to get a refund through Amazon. The seller (Ziruma) contacted me and sent a new cutting board free! The board came in great shape and looks great in the kitchen! Excellent customer service to right the problem. Would purchase from them again as they stand by their product.

Oiled the chopping board as instructed but after a couple uses it has noticeable warping and signs of starting to split already.
