We are very satisfied with the purchase.For a long time we were looking at the educational globes, but I am so glad we settled for this map instead.It is quite big and gives so much information! The map can just be set flat on the floor, or hanged on a wall.You can choose for the map to share info with you, or check your knowledge with multiple quiz options.The information is segregated into capital cities, population, flags, fun facts, languages etc., so your kid can choose what she/he wants to learn each time.It is recommended for older kids, however even my 3.5 years old play with it and started to repeat a lot of the information they hear during the play time.

This was all the talk on Christmas. Everyone wanted to know where I got it. I'm very big into travel and I hate giving non-educational toys to my niblings so I try to find something that is interactive and helps with education and/or development. This was a perfect interactive and educational gift from their world-traveling aunt! Better quality than I expected. I expected a piece of crap but it's very nice. I'm excited to use it with my nephew (and hopefully it holds up long enough to be used with my niece when she's older!)

Love the entire concept. Love the choice buttons. It was difficult to figure out why some things didn't work. Then discovered that only the items with yellow lettering actually "did" anything. The others are just there as markers. I wanted Greenland to do something but never did...that's when I found out about the colored lettering. Rest is fun and informative. A fun way to learn geography.

This interactive talking world map is a must have if you are planning to familiarize anyone - not just a child - with the continents, oceans, seas, and major countries and cities of the world. All you have to do is press on any of the points on the map, you’ll know pretty much everything about that place.I actually bought this for my 5.5 year old son.... he absolutely loves it. It’s interesting, interactive and informative. He keeps pressing on the names and landmarks of the different cities to know more about them. Size wise, it’s not too big, but it’s substantially big enough to engage the child and keep him occupied for a long time. It can easily folded and kept away after use.

Bought this for our PARP Around the World theme. It's a great map with lots of things to press and hear facts about other countries. The only downside is that it will have to be displayed pretty low for younger kids to be able to hit all of the buttons. It did not come with batteries and be prepared with a tiny screwdriver to get the compartment open. We bought 2 and I'm sure that he classes that win them will be very happy with them,

This is a great starter for a 5 year old if you plan on playing with your child since there is no beginner mode and nothing lights up to teach them where it is, so you have to show them. I got this to do together and my 5 year old loves it!

My son absolutely loves this and within a few days he learnt to identify several countries in the map (even the tiniest ones that you can click on) and now can even tell capitals. Keep in mind some countries do not generate any verbal response when clicking and for tiny countries, we have to actually click on the text outside of the country. Overall given those minor drawbacks, I still think it's the best way to teach world geography to young kids (esp. toddlers). I see more usage out of this in the coming years as there is a lot more useful info about each country.

Limited content and touch points were not very responsive and sometimes hard to locate. It didn't provide much information on the locations. The biggest problem is kids got frustrated with the imprecise touch points.

Cheap quality product, not worth for the price shown.
