Buy hardware ahead of time
It was missing the carriage bolts which was irritating since I had to drive 50 miles round trip for two carriage bolts

Works fine but not out of the box compatible
I wanted that extra length for my weather station and this piece was the right diameter but the screws could not be used to connect to the existing pole (though stated on line it would be). Fortunately I had hardware that I could use.
