The battery we received for the first time was waste and could not be charged at all. After returning it, we could charge it normally by replacing it with a new one. So far, it has been normal, but I don't know how long it will last.

Identical battery that was in my LG Accolade VX5600 when purchased new. Great price when I purchased it about two weeks ago, although now it is about 3 times more. Can't quite understand that. One thing I observed when opening the package is the notice that read: "We strongly recommend charging this battery for 24 hours the first time." I had never heard of doing this, but charged it for as long as I could before having to take the phone with me when I left the house (about 15 hours), and it's worked fine since. I haven't had to charge it since that first time, and it's been about a week now. (REALLY!) I had previously heard that when charging phone batteries, it is best to wait until they totally die before recharging them, (something about battery memory), so it made sense to assure a full and complete charge the first time, which the notice instructed was 24 hours for this battery.

My sisters phone battery had a crack in it... Yes, a crack. I don't know how this could have possibly happened, maybe she dropped it, maybe she played baseball with it, maybe it was just a bad battery, I don't know! It was causing her phone to randomly shut off and die. Suffice it to say she needed a new one.So I hopped on amazon and found this little guy for 5 dollars and bought it for her as a replacement.After a lengthy free non-Amazon-Prime shipping wait it showed up and she popped it into her phone and it works! No more random shutting off..... or cracks....So, if your LG Cosmos Touch needs a new battery.... This one is a battery for that phone! It is identical in every way to the stock battery. You can expect battery life that is equivalent to that of the LG Cosmos Touch when it was new... I don't really think there's anything more you could ask for...

I am an "old school" flip-phone user. I purchased this product because I'm looking at an upgrade within the next year and did not want to invest any more than necessary in a battery replacement for this phone.This battery arrived promptly; charged it overnight and it has been fine so far. If it continues to work satisfactorily it will be an outstanding success for the modest price. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 solely because I can't vouch for more than a very few days of use, but I will say it seems like a pretty safe bet so far.Update: After two months it is still working well, so I am raising my rating from 4 to 5 stars. Good buy.

First battery delivered was DOA and would not take a charge. Called seller and they immediately agreed to send a replacement without my having to return the DOA battery. They promptly sent another battery which took a charge and works fine so far. If I knew this battery would last as long as the original, I would give it 5 stars. Only time will tell.

Price I paid for this replacement OEM LG Revere Battery was nothing short of amazing. It was priced like a AA Battery. I paid about 10% of what it was priced at Retail. It arrived swiftly. It IS OEM and I only wish I had more devices I could buy this Battery for, at the Price it was sold for

Used this to replace a failing battery (short battery life) on an LG cell phone. Honestly there was only moderate improvement in battery life replacing the original battery with the OEM. When my contract eligibility was up, I moved to a smart phone because all the providers are making it near impossible to have a "basic" cell anymore. They are pricing the devices high, and the services (basic talk and text) are being priced to move everyone to a smart phone even if you have no need or desire.

My phone quit working and I took it to the cell phone store I bought it from. Guess what they wanted $78 to replace my battery and didn't have one in stock. They ordered me one and it was going to take several days to get it. I ordered it because I really needed my phone. When I got home I got on Amazon and found the same battery for a few bucks. I ordered and canceled my order with the cell phone store. You know they are ripping us off every way they can. Thank you Amazon..
