the stairs are too small my hamster doesn’t use them he climbs up on the side

the holes they made on the product were too small to fit the pieces in the slots, they had to be forced. The wood is very flimsy, so it can easily break if you force it too much. Luckily, mine didn't snap but it could have easily with enough force to assemble it, which is needed.

Mice and one ASF love this home. Put together with ease. Sturdy. I don't see any of these old girls chewing it up. Good addition

I was so excited to assemble & put this house inside my hamster cage but the step came broke so it doesn’t stay jammed/put and is wiggly… I don’t know if I recommend based on quality in that way…

This was an absolute pain to put together. I appreciate the fact that there is no glue or nails that could potentially be dangerous for the small animal but what should have been as simple as putting a rectangular peg into a rectangular hole WAS NOT. The pieces weren’t cut precisely which made getting them to fit together nearly impossible. I literally had to put my foot in it and apply enough pressure that way to make the pieces fit together.It is cute when finally assembled but I never want to go through that process again.
