Ferris ModWallet Kit (with Leather Pull-Tab Covers, MoneyClip, and 1 KeyMod)

I love the new wallet. It is compact, holds the cards I need. I was able to attach an AirTag to the provided key holder and it sits very nicely on top. I also got the KeyLoop kit and they compliment each other perfectly. Had a minor issue upon delivery and customer service was super responsive and helpful. I hope they keep coming up with other excellent products.

Genuinely love the concept of this wallet with all the customization options, but in implementation it doesn't hold up. 1. Getting a card out of the main compartments is such a pain. First hope you guess the correct side your card is in (no more color tab indicators), then opening the magnets, then having to pull the cards out with the slider tab. A huge departure from the convenience of their wally billfold (before that had magnets added). It takes multiple steps to get the cards out then same steps to get it back in. 2. Get ready for all of your cards that swipe to be useless. All of my cards now only work with chip readers and if I get a card that doesn't support a chip reader, I have to keep it away from the wallet all together. 3. Why remove the color pull tabs? Now I don't know which cards are on which side because they are both the same color. I bought 2 of the billfolds prior to this wallet because I loved the convenience and slimness of the wallet with the look of the worn leather, but after this experience I am going to have to look elsewhere. tl;dr magnets good in theory, but still not for a wallet.

Love the idea. There's things I need during the week that I don't need on the weekend. I bought a metal standing file holder and can put the mail there then attach my keys and wallet so they don't get lost. Sadly the execution of this great idea is why it's 1 star. Everything just fell apart in no time, the key leather delaminated the first week, the wallets magnets broke free the first month. Probably don't use glue and use stitching instead. Gotta search for something new.

The concept of a modular wallet intrigued me enough to buy one to test out. The quality of material is good, the leather is very soft to the touch. The magnets are very strong and unless I was trying to deliberately take the wallet apart there was no instance of the parts becoming detached by accident. The squeeze to open pockets are a hit or miss though, sometimes it’s really tough to get them to open up especially with fewer cards inside. The biggest disappointment for me though is the size of the whole thing. The thickness is good but the size is simply a bit bigger than expected. Overall a really neat idea and worth trying out if you can get one with a discount.
