Great multiple surface varnish.
Glad to find something that gives a nice shine, and is also UV protectant and water resistant. I use it to seal colored pencil, marker, and paint. Just make sure your surface is completely dry that you have painted on. For my small jewelry pendants, I wait three days before spraying. Larger areas will need a longer time to cure.

This is by far the best and easily to use
I've used a lot of different acrylic finishes for my painting. This is by far the best and easily to use. Good coverage, excellent, non-yellowing shine. A tad bit expensive but well worth the money. Able to finish my painting in less than 1/2 the time using a liquid.

Beautiful glossy finish.
So far I've been impressed with the finish. I used a Varathane can bought at Home Depot that is water based and while good, the finish isn't the same quality. the Liquitex is not water based so don't think about using this indoors. I can't make any judgement about durability since I just applied it.

This Product is a Miracle
We use Soluvar (both glossy and matte) in a wide variety of antique restoration and conservation projects. It protects a metal item's patina, brings out much of the original brightness in old paintings and provides a layer of protection on whatever we use it on. I leaned about this product from a fine arts restoration professional who highly recommended it. It is easily removable of you need to do so, and without damaging the item. It really is amazing.

Professional Product that is Worth the Price
Used this to seal my acrylic paintings (I'm a newbie). Really made the color pop, and this is a professional-grade varnish. I like the aerosol - much easier to apply. Dries quickly.

Great product
Great product. I use it on a regular basis. The odor is not to bad and doesn’t last long. Just follow directions.

Easy to apply
I used it on an acrylic painted concrete statue that will be out side. It was easy to apply. I don't know yet how it will hold up.

Awful produst
rarely write a bad review but thus product just ruined a portait I painted. I followed the instructions with great care. It left dents , pimple looking places and streaks. I used Liquitex Gloss varnish on another piece with good results. As an artist , I must caution other artists to avoid this product. I will stay with Sennelier Fixative and brushon varnish. To add to the problem , I used it once and cannot return it. I have always loved Liquitex mediums , acrylics and the brush on varnish is good. Artists , steer clear of this product. I want my money back. Liquitex should stand behind the product and refund my money. I am Admin for an art group with over 10,000 members . I will be warning all of them to avoid this product.
