Thick but breathable, and keeps its shape
I never understood why people buy "fluid" shirts that press to their body like water when they're in a pool. This heavyweight shirt is (like all shirts should be) solid. It's thick enough to hold its shape but not be too stuffy. Sweat doesn't soak up in it and make it heavier either (I wore it in 90F weather and it wasn't unpleasant)...I recommend this shirt so much, I bought 2 more!

Fits great and will hold up over time
I've got a heavyweight Dickies T that I've had for 13 years and aside from unavoidable fading it's held up really well. I hoped the same for these as well.Technically, I think these will likely hold up just as well since they are heavyweight, but they aren't really comfortable. I've washed a few times and they remain pretty coarse. I don't use fabric softener, but it looks like I will have to or these will remain permanently in the drawer.Otherwise, they fit good. I work out a bit and the large fits great in the shoulders and chest. As soon as they soften up, these will be my go-to's.

My Carhartts are baggy so I tried these
I am not a large man but have wide shoulders. I always bought a medium Carhartt but the arms and body are too long and baggy. Now Carhartt has gone with a "loose" and a "relaxed" fit for choices. Even wearing a small the necklines are way to baggy and the relaxed is cut too "stylish", not enough room. So I tried the Dickies small and I really like them. I figure that over time with washing they will loosen a bit and that will be fine. The only thing I dislike and that is minor is that there are four labels on the shirt. Not at the neck/shoulder but there are 3 rayon (?) labels on the inside at the left bottom hem giving item care instructions in a slew of languages. Then on the same place on the outside of the shirt is a small label that says Dickies. At least it is not up on the chest. My wife will take out the three inner ones. Great shirt!
