My partner tried one before I did, and let's just say his bodily reactions to it put me off completely. I had to open all the windows because of the smell that lingered after the effects of this herbal ball had kicked in. I just don't see how it's worth it. He also said it was hard to stomach because of the taste.

I wanted to be able to take the whole 6-12 days but omg 😳 just after eating one of these, there’s no way!When I opened the tub I thought, ok these look like something you use when you go fishing, they smelled so lovely, I popped one in my mouth and I wasn’t prepared for the Extremely Vile Bitter taste, how can anyone eat these? I chewed it as per instructions, the texture was ok, I made the mistake of taking one just before my fish n chips and it spoilt the enjoyment of that, taste of these are like nothing I’ve ever tried before, I can’t even describe the flavour!You there’s no way I’m having another, no mater how good they are for you, I could not get rid of the taste for over 15 minutes, could still taste it while eating my lunch.If you love anything bitter this may appeal to you more but for me it a big No! no!These should come with a caution ⚠️ lolShould have used these for the trick or treaters 🤣

I don’t mind bitter I can usually stomach a lot for my health but this was something else. It had barely touched my tongue before I spat it straight out. If you have a higher tolerance than me then give them a try but otherwise, yuck, no thanks!

I was expecting great results from these I'm disappointed.12 in pot to take daily at the time of writing this review I've taken 11 obviously one a day first thing in the morning with a herbal tea with no results whatsoever probably made bowl movement less in fact.Very bitter tasting but natural with no added rubbish so to be expected. If you don't want to Chew the whole ball at once cut into pieces and chew that way.Maybe it's done good internal things with no outward results.Due to it not giving what I thought it would especially with taking the lot it's an expensive bitter pill literally.Well packed and natural I'll give it that.Thank you

OMG! That taste is horrible. I get it that it is natural and very effective but this is really hard sell. I would try again after I forget the taste but this is really too much. Overall has good ingredients and all seems to add up to a quality product, but not sure if I can recommend this one. Unless you can go through the most bitterness you have ever tasted in your life.

Bitter is not the word, these are almost inedible, they are so tart and bitter. I did persevere and took these for a few days. I cannot say I see any great improvement but this may take time.

These bitter herbal truffles are a bit hard to eat. I understand it is a natural remedy with wormwood . It is supposed to be good for digestion . But I think they can make the herbal balls a bit smaller or add some natural sugar to improve the flavour profile.

We love the idea of these but they are just so bitter. They are sold as bitter but boy are the bitter.We would have preferred these as much smaller easy to swallow balls or perhaps in capsule size and shape.These leave a significant aftertaste which is a little unpleasant but also a little refreshing as weird as that sounds!Great idea but would have preferred em much smaller and easier to swallow capsules but unsure if they would have the same effect

They look like a yummy healthy energy balls but they are even healthier albeit extremely bitter balls. So very bitter! I guess it’s maybe also the mind trick, the rounded stuff we mostly know is usually tasty.But I am getting through it because the bitter taste is needed! We avoid nowadays everything bitter and we gorge on sugars only. Therefore almost everyone has some type of food addiction. I am an official sugar addict and although 43 now I have struggled with sugar cravings since I was a child (when I basically didn't want to eat anything but the sweet stuff).I am hoping these bitters will reset my taste buds. I tried in the past bitter drops but this is something entirely different because it's supposed to be thoroughly chewed. Major challenge.Yes, it is designed to combat the gas and bloating. But also the wormwood is known to stimulate hydrochloric acid (HCA) production and optimise bowel flora whilst killing pathogens. I get all sorts of digestive issues when I overeat on unhealthy yummy things and I actually suspect not having as much HCA.Ingredients list is very clean but I cannot taste any honey, cinnamon or dates here at all because the wormwood takes over. I think of this as a medicine.It’s horrible at first but after a while when the tastes buds get over the shock I can feel somewhat the bitter after taste (minimally) and it does indeed make my cravings more settled.There should be 9g - 12 energy balls in the jar. I will try my best and commit to taking this every day as a cure to cleanse my digestive system and reset my sugar cravings for 12 days. Fingers crossed, it’s not for the weak ones. ‘Sweet tooth’ people apparently struggle with the bitters the most.

I personally didn't find them too bad, sure they are bitter, and they do leave a taste in the mouth for a short while afterwards, but I found them quite edible.I like that they are vegan, GMO-free, preservative-free and come with a long 2-year best-before date which is useful if you need to store or don't want to consume them all.Overall, a bitter-tasting truffle that's good for your gut. It's a good idea to read up on the wormwood herb so you know what you are taking.

I’ll start this review by saying I actually enjoy the taste of wormwood, which I realise already puts me in a very small minority. But the idea of eating these did not put me off at all, and in fact I enjoyed them a lot, though I realise this is not going to be the case for everyone! I was very impressed with the list of ingredients, all of which are natural and recognisable. The product listing says these can be broken up and swallowed with water but I just ate them as they were. I did feel I benefited some for the digestive effect they claim to have, so I believe there was some benefit to taking them, though to be honest I’d have been happy to eat them anyway. Reading other reviews, I see that most people couldn’t stomach them at all, but if you can cope with bitter flavours then I would highly recommend these.

This is a really good idea; presenting a powerful herb as a "truffle." This did not mean however it would be delicious like the chocolate truffles we are used to. The taste is painfully bitter and unpleasant. The aftereffects are also powerful; a slight dizzying sensation - like you've eaten hops and the beer came in a separate glass. There is a need for this to be in the market; I can only recommend.Downside: more warning about possible side-effects. Wormwood - is a powerful herb; those on medication may have a reaction. Needs to be more per bottle.I can recommend 100%

These are absolutely grotesque in flavour, though to be fair it does state in the product description that they aren’t delicious in flavour but are effective for treating bloating & having IBS that’s a common symptom that I frequently have.I’m not sure why they would be described as pills, they aren’t as pills can be swallowed whereas these can’t, they are huge in size & are intended to be chewed once daily accompanied by warm water which is equally unpleasant to taste… No one ever asks for a refreshing glass of warm water because it tastes disgusting so there’s nothing nice to cover up the awful taste.They look more like something you’d feed to a horse than a human with flecks of what looks like straw encased in a brown pellet, the taste says ginger but I would say it’s much closer to clove oil & this includes the unpleasant scent that also accompanies each “truffle” They’d have to be much easier to consume in order for me to continue to use them, if they’d have been in pill form I’m sure they’d be much easier to take, they resemble tiny dung balls & the taste probably isn’t too far away from that either!

You might think that title is a bit exaggeratory but believe me, you will never taste anything more disgusting in your life if you buy these. I managed to chew and swallow half of one ball while downing my mug of coffee and had to quickly go brush my teeth. Even that didn't get rid of the flavour.Obviously, it states on the packaging how bitter they are, however i would not even class these as edible whatsoever because you cannot physically stand to chew one of these balls from hell let alone swallow them. Why they are not in pill form, I have no idea. That would make a lot more sense.Unfortunately as much as I want to experience the effect that these have to offer, I have to throw them out.

We cannot say its flavour is pleasant. They definitely do not taste good. ... and it has not had a reasonable and competitive price as well.I am not able to state any progress, or positive improvements, considering my digestion. Perhaps it has made positive internal changes without exhibiting any external noticeable effects.... and I am 100% sure I would not like to go through and complete a colon detoxification procedure in this way again ;(
