Remington DuraBlade Lithium Hybrid Trimmer and Edger

I used the Durablade for a week now and as for now I'm very pleased. I was looking for a strong machine that can handle the hair growth on my face after weekends instead of using a shaving machine that can't handle it. I was not expecting powerful shaving capabilities, but more a trimming capability. To my surprise the machine came out as a long hair trimming predator that can clean you face from hair in a matter of few minutes. As for shaving, it also came as a surprise since the output regarding shaving was very good. It doesn't apply the silk face output, but it gets not very far from it. As for now I stopped using my shaver and I use only this machine for all my needs. All in All it's a powerful all rounder. In order to reach a good shaving result you have to trim the facial hair at first and with no extra care or caution, but without applying pressure to the face or getting very close, just a fast trimming process. The next phase is to start using the machine close to the face with a bit of a pressure but with extra caution and slow movements. This will result in quite a good shaving output.

I finally needed to replace my nearly 10 yr old battery operated trimmer. After much searching, I settled on the Remington Durablade trimmer. This version has the interchangeable small detail attachment, which is great for everything from fine trimming on my goatee to even ear hair. For the price I have zero complaints about the quality. The battery life is good, and the ergonomic design of the handle with it's rubberized exterior handles great wet or dry. I read the reviews regarding closeness of the shave and was not disappointed there either. Yes, although it's not shaving as a close as a blade, if you're like me and don't prefer the smooth skin look,the you'll love this trimmer. It charges quickly, and holds it's charge for over an hour thus far. I don't shave everyday as I like some stubble, so I anticipate a longer use time between charges than someone who shaves down to the skin daily. Great buy for the money and with the 5 yr blades I will more than get my money's worth.

Good Shave , but do not Shave perfect smoth face off

I don't like the skin-feel shaving, it does perfectly to save stubble from skin bald.

Bought it on Amazon.. So far.. Amazon has been brilliant!.. So I bought this purchase as i have had the smaller one from else where here in Cyprus, & I liked it.. So I went for an slightly better model.. So I went to charge it via the manual.. (same as my other Razor of the same company, Remington...).. Nothing.. No Life.. No light to see if its charging.. So I managed to find another person who had the same model.. which he used to ages.. The Unit was very hot from his USB cable, from the same model.. But no charging light was showing, so to me the thing I was sent was a dud.. Even when it seem to come sealed.. Well the Shaving component seem to be sealed to the packaged.. Which I Assumed maybe the customs the boxing inspection, as i live in Cyprus.. So its not worth me sending back, but i wasted my hard earned money.. for it.. So I'm a bit annoyed.. As I could accept a faulty USB cable.. which it wasn't.. I'm a bit miffed to say the least.. It would cost me sending it back, so I'm taking it as a loss..

I like it because after 2 years I don't have any problem and it is working perfectly fine. And I explained it to my coworkers they like it, they were asking me to order 3 for them after using it they're like it because it is working perfectly

I ordered two of these, one for me and my partner, and when they arrived they did not work. It was like the heads were gummed up or something. I wasn't able to get them to work by cleaning or any other method. Disappointed in these.

Game changer. Normal disposable razors, safety razors, and electric shavers all agitate the heck out of my neck. But this doesn't do ANY of that, and gives a pretty close shave. Extremely happy with my purchase!

I had high for this to work. However it is good only for trimming, not shaving

Did not come in a box, it came loose w/acc in a ziplock bag. No assurance that it was new. Also it did not work, changed it and would not turn on... After about 6 tries it started to 'loosen up' and work. Been working ever since and good. Note: this is not a close shave but a 5 o'clock shave, leaving some stubble. (What I wanted)
