I wanted cotton twill tape and that is exactly what this is. (There seems to be confusion over bias tape being included in the title). This does have give and stretch as it is loosely weaved and will steam/press well to stretch or shrink. It is made of a very soft cotton which is just perfect for what twill tape is traditionally used for. Hemming is easy with this as it doesn't add bulk, leaves a smooth perfect finish for hem (especially if handsewn down to finish it off onto the garment). It's great for projects where your fabric is limited as you can allow much less addition for your hem. Good waist tape too, if you sew things that need that. Don't mistake this for cheap, artificial bias binding. Its a quality natural fibre tape used traditionally for hemming.

Perfect for bunting

I was making bunting for our craft club jubilee party and this tape is excellent quality. I was very impressed with the ease of use when attaching the flags as this tape is thick enough to be strong yet flexible enough for the job. Some I had looked at were a little thin as I have put it in my garden after the weekend celebrations finished. It will last years I think. Would buy again.
