Im very happy i got this kit. It came with everything needed to build your own firepit. The pan itself is nice and sturdy and of good stainless steel quality. I initially had an issue that there was an odor coming from the fire (i didnt properly instal air mixture valce beneathe the pan) when i contacted seller they were quick to reply and my issue has been resolved! So customer service is an A+ for me. Everyone loves my firepit and already im getting some requests to have some made for them so without a doubt i will purchase from this seller again

Easy to install and use. I would suggest looking up installer videos to see suggestions on requirements for building a container/enclosure for your pit. These instructions only cover the plumbing process. Enclosures will require ventilation a the bottom of your pit.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered the 36 by 12 inch model to install in a custom built base I built along with a concrete top. The burner tray is well constructed of heavy gauge stainless steel. I ordered the natural gas option since my home has natural gas service. All the necessary accessories are included (gas hoses, shutoff valve, adaptor to connect gas hose to burner and battery powered ignitor ( like the type found on bbq grills. Everything connected easily although I replaced the short supply hose with a 12 foot hose with a quick connect fitting. The supplied shutoff valve includes a removable “key” which not only allows you to turn on and off the gas supply but also lets you adjust the flame from barely on to full blast. My only complaint is with the placement of the ignitor in the factory mounting holes. When the supplied ignitor is mounted in the intended position between the burner tubes it protrudes well above the center of the dual burner tubes and was positioned so that the burners would not light using the ignitor. I had to use a long butane lighter to manually light the fire. I had to drill holes in the burner tray closer to the burner tubes, and carefully bend the ignitor probes so they were closer to the burner in order to get the fire to light reliably. I would give this product 5 stars if they addressed this shortcoming. All in all I am very satisfied with it.

Couldn't burn wood anymore in outside metal and glass fireplace because I have COPD. Can't be around smoke. This works great in place of wood. One third the place in other places. Get all that you need. I broke the lighter stem, very sensitive. just as easy to use a lighter

First unit was damaged but they sent a new one and all the parts were there and in good condition.Simple to assemble and works great beside the igniter. I put a lot of time into installing a custom mounting plate that I feel should come with the unit, but doesn't. Then to find out it doesnt light the fire. It sits too high for the sparks to do any good. Dont feel like it would work anyway since it takes a second or two for a lighter to ignite the flame. Nice flame once its started though.Also the fire glass and a cover for this thing are super expensive! Both are needed in my opinion. You have to have the glass and the lid is necessary for protection of the unit from weather and sheilding the hot glass after it's off. Just be prepared to spend twice the cost of this plus all the cost and effort to build a base and top to put it in.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my wife for Mother’s Day. She loves it! She built the base for it and made a tile top. The 36” took 50 lbs of glass. The base build cost was between 300$ and 400$. Getting a 20 foot hose and updating a quick disconnect to my natural gas was about 100$. For the natural gas hook up we have a valve on their with the quick disconnect which is a must or when you want a smaller flame with just the control at the fire pit it will whistle. We are very happy with the final product. Still much cheaper than buying a nice commercial one.

Love the quality of this product and the look of the finished project but would have appreciated a set of directions! Looked up a manual on line as the website is not available to answer questions on a Sunday. Pricier than similar products but the sturdiness and construction are worth it. Will review again in a few months to see how it holds up

I was able to get this at a discounted price. Worked out well except for the spark ignitor. Unless you have the right tools, I gave up on installing the igniter. Too much of a hassle. They should have pre drill the holes for this.

Bought the Nat Gas version and was not able use as this is not CSA approved. We needed to convert to propane, which was not great.It looks great and works okay but we bought a large size so propane tanks don’t last long.
