Honestly I put these types of items on my wish list as small, low cost items to add to an order to get over an order minimum. This one works out great - small, economical and very useful!I'd bought it to have around my desk as I work on something or read some fine print of a user's manual - print has gotten so small these days! I'd misplaced my glasses one day and grabbed this to take to work with me for the day. I work in a big box store and involved in inventory management of a lot of small items, especially light bulbs. This item came in so handy when trying to determine bulb sizes, wattages, and manufacturers. It is a godsend and a very worthwhile purchase.Tom

I am almost completely satisfied with this magnifier. Previous wallet magnifiers i have purchased split in half soon after I started to carry them around. The mighty bright is rugged enough to last for quite a while. The flip side is that there is no way can fit it into my standard size wallet so I just carry it loose in my pocket. The light, as advertised, is "mighty bright".

After losing my close-up vision due to cataract surgery, I bought one of these magnifiers and found it helpful for reading fine print in stores and theaters. I also use it to magnify small details on home projects. The small, circular close-up magnifier is good for really fine details. The magnifier is small and lightweight. It fits easily in a purse or pocket, but as other reviewers have also noted, it is too thick for a wallet. The magnifier is not large enough to work well for reading books, but I didn't expect it to be. The light is remarkably good. The light switches on and off--you do not have to hold down the button to keep the light on. I didn't realize how important the light was till I tried it. The case is a light protective sleeve; it will prevent scratches but probably won't help much if you drop the magnifier. Overall, I am quite pleased.

This magnifier is low profile and easy to carry anywhere. The main viewing area is 2x magnification, the rounded cut-out corner lens is 6x. The 6x lens is very small but works well enough.The LED light is bright and is what makes this product such a good buy. The light is turned on/off with a button that is visible just under the 'Mighty Bright' logo in the photo. The button seems ok so far, but does have a slightly "cheap" feel to it and long term durability might be an issue.The included pleather carry case is a nice touch, although the inside is not very soft.For the price, this is a good value. You will end up reaching for this whenever you need a little magnification along with a light.

I purchased this magnifier to have on hand for reading very small print. It takes some getting use to to be able to use the magnifier effectively. The price on it was very good, but it is not as effective as I thought it would be.

This is the best little magnifing light, my dad has macular degeneration and can't see well. He takes this with him when ever he goes out so he can read menus etc. This is the second one we have purchased for him the first one won't light anymore after several years of use. Thank you for a great product.

This magnifier is a convenient tool with a light that can easily carried. I use mine to check small numbers inside glasses frames to determine size. It also helps when reading extremely small print on product warranties. I bought it to replace a similar product I had purchased years ago at Staples whose light wore out. The convenience of its availability online at Amazon outweighs a trip to find it or not at a nearby store.

I purchased this item for a gift to someone I know who has trouble reading small print. It works great, and she tells me she uses it often, carrying it in her wallet so it is always near.
