Cats in Cubes - Modular Cat Furniture (One 14" Kit, Translucent White)

New review: I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4. I've had this 4 or 5 months, and although it's not my cats favorite thing ever, they do use it because they (they are ex-ferals so they're like having cat-racoon-monkey hybrids around) enjoy *new activity* and this is so light I can move it around, next to the couch for example, and lazily play with them while watching Netflix, then return it to an area where, unlike more stationary large cat trees, it's not an eye sore. Other than the initial issues with it, it's in the same condition as day 1. It's held up way better than expected and much better than most cat play houses or jungle gyms.Old review: bought the kit of 4 to try...in hopes my 2 high activity cats would like it and I could add kits later. Really love that it's easily cleaned and modular...But one of the wire frames was snapped when I unpacked the box...I wrapped it with electrical tape and moved on...seems sturdy enough.But then, when finishing putting it together, one of the hammock's hooks snapped when I went to latch it. Disappointing, because the hammock was one of the primary reasons I bought it.Overall a great product but not a great first impression or final step...mine seems to have been manufactured on a bad day. I wanted to love it, and almost do...but I'm not sure I'll purchase additional kits after this.

Love the idea, but the plastic is cheap and cracks easily. The frame is solid but the plastic that goes over the frames is weak. I would have gladly paid more for better/sturdier plastic panels.

Not as sturdy as I would have hoped. The plastic is VERY thin. I got this because my cats love hammocks, but they don't even use it. They only lay on top of the structure.

Great for the cats, they all use it. Plastic can be a little flimsy but there are spares.

easy to assembly, my cat loves it. The hanging hammock is too long and hits the floor.

So far so good .Looks not that strong . Around 19lb ,our cats.

I gave it a star as the assembly was easy & the cubes can be arranged & re-arranged easily enough. The problem is that my cat will not go near it. He is a large cat and barely fits. The material is very slick, it may be strong, but that doesn't matter if the cat won't use it.

Cats love it!
