Fin Fun Mermaid Tail, Reinforced Tips, Monofin Included, Aussie Green, Youth 12

This Mermaid Tail is better than I expected. I bought a size 12 for my daughter who typically wears 10/12, and it fits her very nicely. The fabric is of good quality and the Monofin is sturdy but flexible, like regular flippers. We came across only one obstacle while putting it on the first time. The "sock like" sleeves where you put you feet in, were too tight to go over my daughter's heels. She tried it out anyway and pulled the socks up just before her ankle and heel, however, we found that once the "sock" material was wet, it stretched just perfectly. It went up to her ankles enough to keep the fin on securely. Just like regular swimming fins, it will propel you much faster through water. In our pictures and videos, the tail looks very real, almost movie quality. My daughter absoutely loves it as does her sister who is normally a size 16 and put it on without overstretching the fabric at all. It is such a hit, we have ordered another.

Day 1 this seems to be well made, durable and fun. My daughter was extremely excited to receive this as a reward for effort resulting in excellent grades this year. We’ll see if this holds up for the summer but on first appearances this has got to be the best *affordable* mermaid tail on the market! My only regret in purchasing this is that now my 4 year old daughter wants one of her own. That being said I highly recommend this over the less priced and probably less well constructed products out there.

She loves it and sister wants one too. No better endorsement than that. Just wish they weren't so expensive.The fit of the fin on this one seems to accommodate a greater range of foot sizes than one a friend of hers has and the material covering the fin seems sturdier. This one didn't have the top the other came with but you need a swimsuit anyway so that's not really a issue. The mermaid material stretches well but the waist could use something to keep it from slipping down as the dolphin kick. The tension of the stretch material doesn't quite hold it up so she ends up having to yank it up to her waist every once in a while.

This is my daughters second tail and she loves them!! The first one she outgrew after two years and she asked for the same one this year for Christmas in a bigger size. She is 4’5” and around 85 lbs and it fits her with room to stretch and grow with it as well. Good quality and beautiful, bright colors (just like the pictures). Highly recommend!

We have not gone swimming yet, but it was easy to put on and looks great. We bought a Youth 12 after measuring and seeing that we would need the length and risk a bigger waist. The waist isn't even too large. It seems to fit well.

Amazing! My kids absolutely love them! They even wear them in the house when relaxing! They never want to take them off. Very well made and I love all the safty precautions for parents to be aware of before letting the child swim with them. I was very nervous about letting my kids have these for fear of drowning. They practiced the quick release of the fins and tail in water and it works great! Still will be under constant supervison while in use but the company thought about the safty which I appreciate! Thank you!

This is a very fun item. But be prepared for it to only make it through two seasons. My daughter is a fish and used this every day during the summer. Like most bathing suits it deteriorated from the chlorinated pool. We got 2 summers out of it and my daughter absolutely loved it to pieces!!

The girls love their fin fun tails! I bought them one size bigger so they can wear for a few years....they still fit great with room to grow! Anyone on the fence about this fin versus cheaper ones go with the fin fun as it comes with the mono fin which makes it much easier to swim with. We bought the shimmer tails in past but the girls could not swim as well as with the mono fin that comes with the fin fun tail. It is worth the extra money for a better product! Very happy with my purchase!!

Bought 3 of these as I have Triplet Girls.Have to say the quality is fantastic and my girls are loving them in the pool.
