Coleman 25-Quart Party Stacker Cooler

I'm sure this cooler has a use for some family gathering for a day, but i did not get it for that. I got it to keep cans cool. It will not even keep a bag of ice OVERNIGHT in a 70 degree temp..... I would not recommend for anyone wanting to keep anything on ice. It will be warm water within 24 hours.

You can also see my review of the larger size stacker.This one is just to small. Not only will it not hold 12oz bottles standing up, it holds few cans. So I thought I'd use it as the food cooler. However, putting in a bag of ice and putting food on top, leaves little room.But even if it manages to hold food for 2-4 people with ice, the ice doesn't last long. I'm not sure I've owned a cooler that the ice lasted so little time. For a couple hours tailgating or at home party it should be ok. But it would be totally worthless all day on a boat or camping. In fact I'm now using one simply as a box for dry items (foil, trash bags, zip bags, seasonings, etc). But that is a pretty expensive storage box.I gave the larger size 3 stars. It holds bottles (if not many) and fully loaded is easy to carry. But the smaller size of this one lost all appeal to me. I'll give it 2-stars if you really need something hard side this small. But even if you do, I think there are better and cheaper options by moving away from the stacker feature. I myself would not buy again even specifically for tailgating. After two uses, I even considered returning...but I'm going to continue to try to work with....

Good For family packs of meat on a Hot summer day. Just the size I was looking for!Low sides, but is still wide and long enough for packaged meats, frozens, maybe even boxed pizza.I would say you can fit a case of soda cans inside with a little ice on top.Color: Gray is more like clay/ brown. Cons:Damaged in shipping due to poor packing. Sorry Amazon.I would have gone with a 5-stars if it were packed better.FYI: Lid does not lock. Lid has no hinges. Not a problem for me, but may be for some uses.Overall, I am happy with it for my needs.(No I have not tested max time that ice will last in it, but an hour would be enough for me).

It tells you the exact size so there should be no complaints concerning that feature. I like it because it's good to take on short trips without getting in the way. I was able to go out of town with three adults including my self and a baby in a Prius and the cooler fit great. Also you can use the top to make your food after you take out all of your ingredients. The structure is sturdy, I like the color, and the price was good as well.

I've been looking to buy another one of these Party Stackers for several years but could never find it in stores. Of course Amazon had it so I finally bought another. Other than these being able to stack on one another, they're great in a car or van as they don't tip over.7 lbs of ice will last about 12 hours if kept out of the sun.After over 3 years of using this cooler. I found it best suited to hold foods prepared for a BBQ. Also for the short term, it's been great at holding a 30 pack of Coors on ice for several hours.

The header for this cooler says that the price is $18 up, but there is no cooler for that price. It's $27 up. Great cooler for grocery shopping. Can get locally for $20. I needed mine shipped (free on Prime) so bought one here.

Bought both a 33 quart and a 25 quart version of this item. I needed the low profile of the 33 quart version to fit in the bed of my Honda Ridgeline with a Roll-n-Lock bed cover with the cover closed. Either the 33 or 25 quart version also fit nicely in the back seat of the Ridgeline between my two kids when we go on road trips. We haven't used it for this yet but I think this would work nicely to help keep something like a casserole dish warm on the way to a party. These are thin walled coolers so don't expect them to keep things cold for extended periods of time (i.e. more than 6 to 8 hours).

I love this cooler.Pros:Low center of gravity so it won't tip over in the trunk of your car.Low sides allow you to use this as a table top serving station to keep your food on ice while on those hot summer days.Its just the right size to hold a case of canned drinks on a single level, so no need to dig down to the bottom to get the variety you were looking for.Its wider than most coolers so you can hold a 9x13 casserole or that large bowl of potato salad that never wants to sit upright in any other cooler.Cons:People keep borrowing it because its such a nice size!
