I bought these as power distribution bus bars on one of my smaller solar power systems. These bus bars are made of tinned plated copper bus bars with a 300 amp rating. The bus bars are very strong with six 3/8" studs and protective covers. Great for heavy gauge cables moving lots of current. These bus bars are very capable and have high conductivity for a low resistance connection. If you want a great connection, make absolutely sure the bus bars are copper. They are very easy to install and have lots of room for expansion. These bus bars are a terrific value for the price. I highly reccomend them to anyone looking for good bus bars for solar, RV, Marine and other applications. I give them 5 stars.

I'm frequently disappointed with the quality and adequacy of numerous electronic accessories like these, but these bus bars did not disappoint. They are BEEFY, easily mountable, and I can affix heavy gauge ring-terminated wires to them without issues or fear of it not being able to handle high-current loads. The only reason this isn't 5 stars, is the plastic cover over the bus affixes using a couple rubber pieces in the holes on the ends, and it makes for a flimsy attachment and the rubber pieces can just fall off and completely out of the cover. As you can see in the images of these two installations, I use a wire tie and/or additional electrical tape to hold them on. (on the first picture you can see the rubber grommet is completely missing - it fell out and was never to be found again). For a ground bus in an automotive application, having the cover isn't critical but still preferred. For a +12v or +24v bus, having it covered is much more important. I still like these for the price - they handle the current and are easy to install; and I just make do with the poor cover design. (hint to manufacturer: if you can improve the way the cover affixes to the bus, this would be an perfect product for the price)

These bars are excellent quality. I was seriously impressed at the thickness and weight of the bus bars. In the past I have mad my own bus bars, but these are better than I could replicate and cost effective. Will buy again.

Much heavier duty than I originally expected which is a good thing. Wish it was at least copped plated but I new that before ordering.
