Life Extension High Potency Optimized Folate 5000 mcg, 30 vegetarian tablets-PACK-3

Love this stuff! I take it with b12 for a handful for genetic mutations related to folate that I have and accompanying symptoms like anxiety, depression, chronic pain & fatigue, as well as in prevention of known hereditary cardiovascular problems in other members of my family. I wish I had known to take this while I was pregnant with my two kids as well because the MTHFR gene is linked with miscarriages and preemies, of the latter were both my kids. It would have been interesting to see if it worked to prevent this! I started taking 1/2 a pill a day in July 2018 and gradually increased the dose until now (January 2019) where I take 3 a day or 15mg. So far, I feel like it’s really helped with the anxiety and depression so I’m going to keep on taking it!

Great product-delivers as advertised.

The description says the item is 5000mcg. The bottles I received were 8200mcg. This is too high, so I have to return them. Such a waste of my time.

What can I say, if your here your looking for an absorbable quality methylated folate. Outside of lab work who knows. However I have that rotten mutation and have been on this for a minute and I believe it's helping, however I'm no lab.

Not effective. Disappointing. My hair began falling out again within a week of starting these folate tabs. I switched to a different brand and within 2 weeks my hair stopped falling out again.
