Really easy to hang - good heat output and nice little ambient light in the middle too. Looks great on our pergola !

This is a beast of a hanging heater. Firstly it very large - coming in at a diameter of 24 inches / 61 cm. This heater is not one that’s discrete !! Secondly, it heats up very well and very fast.It comes with a 2.5m cable, which means the fused 3 pin plus is far enough away from the heater, but also means that it needs an extension lead when using under a gazebo.It attaches to a gazebo by way of metallic wire rope that means the heater can hang to a maximum 107 cm lower (yes, just over 1m) than the carabiner at the end. The wire rope can be adjusted shorter should you wish, adjusted by means of the release valve under the carabiner.Switching on is via the on/off switch / power button location inside centre of the patio heater and control can be via the remote control which is described as touch but pressing is involved.The remote control has 3 buttons that control the 3 heat levels and LED light. The centre button controls the light and the other achieve the 3 heat settings (one, other or both buttons together for either hottest setting or to power off.You can also adjust the heater using the touch control located on the underside of the patio heater. It’s the coloured power symbol. Press for heat setting 1 2 or 3 and/or LED light. A coin battery (CR2450) is supplied for use with the remote control.The order is as follows1. 1st touch = 1000w power2. 2nd touch = 1500w power3. 3rd touch = 2500w power4. 4th touch = 2500w power + LED light5. 5th touch = LED lightNext touch powers off.Using the light and not any heat settings is handy for darker but warmer nights !!It’s also a beast because the heat it supplies is effective and plentiful. Great for sitting under. During spiting and/or autumn nights. Each of the 3 heat settings are effective and all of which direct heat downwards, exactly as you would expect.To switch off, you can switch off via the underside. Your hand doesn’t actually get hot because no heat is directed through the middle underside. Also, no heat is felt above the patio heater.This is an excellent heater. It’s not cheap, and no doubt will materially increase my electricity bills but will receive plenty of use especially during spring and autumn evenings.I hope you found this review helpful.

This is a fairly large lamp, weighing in at 14kg. If you've got some beams to hang it on, make sure they can take the weight! It's quite wide too, being 61cm diameter and 10cm tall.The lamp comes with a long lead for power and a short chain for hanging. It directs all the immediate heat downwards, the top not getting very hot, so should be good for fitting under a plastic roof.Three heat levels and independently controlled LED light, all from the remote or top panel. Really does heat up nicely, the range about 4-5 ft being the best. Would suit a table for 8 easily, with the chilly souls being closest.Not cheap but it's very weatherproof and tough.

I did not do Zanussi made patio heaters - but it is great. Really impressed with the style and shape.We have used it in our gazebo and its worked brilliantly - really easy to operate especially with the remote control. It has 3 heat settings we havent used 3 yet but the other two are good and have given us enough heat for our needs.You do need to make sure it is firmly attached though - i cannot stress that enough!! The last thing you want is it falling off the hook when you are using it or sitting underneath!!! Also bear in mind you will need to connect it to the electric supply so if you do not have a socket nearby you will need an extension cable..Its top quality though and comes with all you need and clear instructions for use.

Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again 👍

Plug and play item and then works at a flick of a button with an adjustable heat level for depending on how toasty the people sitting underneath wish to be. This is a very high quality item with a nice mesh safety surround and finished in a black metal built which should be fitting with most outdoor scenes. I opted for the hanging style so I needed a little mount clip to setup (which I sourced for a few pounds). Really good size and a long cable reach so I don’t need any extenders to reach our outdoor socket. Set at a good price and should be perfect for the summer evening and early winters months when we still want to sit outside :)
