Blaupunkt Nuremberg 200 DAB BT

This unit just does what it says it will do. Visually perfect for a collectable vehicle like our Defender with its understated lack of bling and coloured lights. The settings are easy to drill down into but the layout and logic of the physical controls is intuitive and tactile and works perfectly via Bluetooth with my iPhone for calls and media playing.The sound is being played through just two Pioneer speakers though it can take 4 and is clear throughout the audio spectrum for both speech and music. The simple tone controls are set to useable frequencies.All in all I’m very pleased with the item and will give it a full five stars for its excellent economy of style and full functionality. This is a real ‘form follows function’ unit which suits our vehicle very well.

Really impressed better than expected . Easy to use good sound

Item came without wiring or cable connectors. Nil reply from Vendors or replacement of missing parts. Cannot use same consequently. In its current state it is an expensive brick!

Nice bit of kit, good value and looks great. Sounds ok too.However, the USB does not recognise Apple phones/iPods etc. I was told when I raised this with the seller that no Blaupunkt equipment works with Apple. But I contacted Blaupunkt and was advised the Stockholm and Skagen units work with Apple. So I returned this and purchased a Stockholm 400 which works with my phone a treat. It was a bit dearer but worth it.

Nice fit in an 02 SLK, straight swap and could almost pass for OEM. Has thin bezel so doesn't jutt out of sensor console, sitting nice and flush. Everything on it works as it should and it has decent sound though I did at one point have an issue with distorted sound via Bluetooth but a factory reset stopped it and it hasn't come back. Only thing I don't like about the design is the fake cd slot, I wish they'd just made that part flat instead of the little indentation it has. Doesn't come with a DAB aerial but I purchased an adapter/ splitter for the standard car aerial lead and that works well, cheaper than the stick-on ones too.

The main power knob is very random and it is frustrating when the unit doesn’t turn on or off.Also the Bluetooth connectivity is hit and miss.I suspect I have a Friday Afternoon product.I’ll be requesting a replacement as I love the look and the sound is awesome 👌
