I believe this has the highest weight rating of any of 3M's products; however, you do need to watch the ratings. You will want a small margin of safety to ensure hanging appliances, etc do not fall off. Note that this will work best when gravity does not pull on the strip (holding a power strip in one place on a desk), a bit worse when positioned vertically on a wall, and almost useless if you try to hang something from it (ie hanging a powerstrip from a ceiling). These work great and I have reordered at least a couple of times as my roommate and I keep finding uses for them.

I've used these for a very long time and I could not be more pleased with them. These are easy to apply and easy to remove when no longer needed without ripping out the paint on the wall or backing on the picture frame. Strong, too. The adhesive strength on the back is more than sufficient for even larger picture frames as long as you have sufficient numbers of them interspersed along the frame. The velcros do not use the traditional hook and loop pairing to work. The velcros are all identical and have surfaces covered with what would be best described as teeth (for interlocking with other teeth). This means each piece of velcro will work with every other piece and there is no need to match up the velcros the way traditional hook and loop velcros have to be matched up. When fully interlocked, the velcros provide a LOT of lateral strength -- more than required for the purposes of holding up picture frame. They are also fairly easy to disengage; simply pry them apart. The ease with which they can be pried apart makes it a big plus when it comes times to change out the pictures in the picture frames. Once you're done changing out the pictures, simply line the velcros on the picture frame back up with those on the wall, press down firmly over locations where the velcros are located, and you're done. I really love these 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips. They are a big pricey in my opinion, but if you don't want to put holes in your walls and want a super fast and easy way to put up picture frames, these absolutely cannot be beat. Highly recommended!

They work and hold stuff up. Note that they do not always remove from the wall without peeling the paint. I’ve tried to take some down and it’s causing massive holes in my paint. Fortunately I have the original paint so I can touch up. Occasionally they can be a bit hard to stick on the frame, if the frame has hooks already installed that are sticking out too far on the back. That can mean that these don’t stick out far enough to adhered to the wall with the hook blocking. Only an infrequent problem.

These aregreat for anything and everything especially when you're a renter. These have saved me more then once. But be mindful when removing because they can cause paint to peel and lift.

Used then to hang a mini PC under the desk and it holds it without any problem. Last overs lasted probably over 2 years, but because of the heat from the mini pc unglued and 2 out of 4 came off. Pretty useful to hang stuff.

I used these to mount some large gallery frames and a plastic night light in my son’s room. I followed the directions and used four pairs of strips for the large frames due to their size. The strips can be a bit challenging to use in trying to make sure the frame is level. It is definitely easier with two people. A trick I found is to use painters tape or masking tape to mark where the corners should line up on the wall, so when you are ready to actually apply it, you can more easily line it up. Then you just remove the tape without marks on your wall. The plastic night light is small and light so I just used one pair of strips horizontally along the back. So far no issues with adhesion. I’ve used this product in the past and never had an issue with removal. They pull off the wall quite easily and leave no adhesive behind. *I purchased this product with my own money and my review reflects my honest and unbiased opinion. I hope you find it helpful. Another amazing product from 3M. The application are endless and less mess to remove than double sided tape.

For years I have used blu-tac and similar to stick posters and prints to walls. It always ends with some discolouration o Neue back of the posters and with the blu-tac drying out and not staying stuck to the walls. These mounting strips work great! Might even be overkill. They are strong and hold posters to the wall. They easily peal off walls and posters when you are done. Would recommend.

Great for hanging up poster frames in rentals.

Command Large Picture Hanging Strips hold well and suit hanging tasks where a thanking hook would be visible or hook hanging would create an undesirable tilt forward of the picture. A little awkward to align the picture in one go, but not too hard with care. Good to know pictures can be moved if unliked in the position without leaving holes in walls.
