Mobil 112810 Delvac Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid - 1 Gallon (Pack of 4)

Used this in my Duramax w/ Allison 6 sp. Did the "double change", and it drives like new!Very smooth shifts....much better than with the old fluid.Also, you get smooth shifting hot or cold, and the fluid seems to run cooler - around 20 degrees cooler.Great stuff. And, by Allison's own calculator (look it up online), you can run 150k between changes by running this stuff.Might be more $$, but easily pays for itself right there - in the longer drain interval.

I've recently became a DIY person. I was already having good results with Mobile 1 Turbo Diesel engine oil, so when I found out that Mobil also had a preferred product for my allison, I made the switch. Since no one locally stocks this, I can get it delivered to my door sooner than waiting for the local parts store to order it in and then have to drive up to pick it up.

I bought a 2001 gmc druamax with 92,000 miles on it I wanted to change all fluids filters and do general maintenance. After looking around online I found allison wants a transmission fluid rated tes-295 nobody locally carried it and the local Allison dealer only worked on "medium duty or bigger trucks" and would not sell fluid to me I found this on amazon for a good price bought it replaced fluid and the truck shifts smother and quicker than before. I will use this until my truck falls apart.

This is the equivalent of the Transynd made by Allison for Allison Transmissions. If you use TES 295 fluid on medium to heavy duty as recommended you can extend trans oil changes by 3 to 4 years depending on severe duty or not. This fits the bill and is a good price. Especially when using prime you get free shipping and no tax.
