I ordered one of these for my spare bathroom. We have been using the bathroom. I take hot steamy showers, and this fan is quiet, and in 3-5 mins the steam is off my mirror with the door closed.We do have one switch for the light and one switch for the fan. If you have only one switch, then the fan and light will turn on and off at the same time. Love the night light option too. If you flip the on/ off switch quickly you can go from the bright led light to the night light.I ordered another one for the master bathroom. I was weary from all the other bad reviews but I have not experienced any of those problems. Mine has been installed since October 2023 with no issues.

Once our old bathroom fan was out, putting the new one in was very easy! The fan is extremely quiet, can’t hear it while I’m showering, and can barely hear it when there’s no water running.Not in love with the light-switch feature; I get migraines and flipping the lights on/off to change to a dimmer setting will take getting use to. It seems to reset to the bright setting overnight. Or perhaps I haven’t gotten the hang of it just yet.I would strongly recommend buying duct tape and not duck tape for this project.

Great appearance, useful low-intensity light. The bright light is very bright so you may want to put it on a dimmer. Its main flaw is that the damper is placed too close to the end of the duct connector, so that the deep corrugations of flexible ducting can easily flex into the opening and block the damper. Then the fan will run but not exhaust any air. Until the designers fix this, use semi-rigid ducting, which is made of aluminum and has very shallow corrugations that allow you to flex it or stretch it.

I like it’s feature of brightness which covers whole bathroom

When I first installed this fan for a main level guest bathroom (with shower) I absolutely loved it. Very quiet, bright light, and nice nightlight. My previous 55 cfm unit was much louder so I figured that I got twice the suction strength with a fraction of the noise. Wrong. I was on my step ladder inches away from the fan with a tissue that didn't budge as I held it close to the vent. Oh, and the fan motor is definitely running (you can lower the cover/light and easily see it). After the tissue test, I gave it another test. I blew vape smoke towards the fan and it just hung in the air close to the ceiling with no noticeable movement. I bought the fan mainly for the light feature and I'm totally satisfied with that but I was hoping to get at least the 55 cfm that my old clunker unit provided. I feel that it's not even close to 55 cfm. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend this unit. If the light starts acting up, like I've read in many of the negative reviews, I'll switch it out for a Panasonic. Until then, since the guest bathroom shower is very rarely used, I'll just live with it and enjoy the lighting, which is great so far.UPDATE: OREiN customer service reached out to me to offer a full refund but since I liked the light feature I suggested a half refund. I thought I was being magnanimous but then they came back with a message detailing all of the problems that may have caused the weak ventilation - and all were basically user problems. One solution they had was to open a window when showering. These suggestions were so insulting that I've since reduced the rating to one star because of the bad combination of product and service. Good luck with OREiN. I'm through with them.

I really like the light on this unit and the nightlight feature is very cool. The fan is so quiet I will actually use it during the shower. It really makes the shower stall even classier. I had very little room under the upstairs floor joist so the fan exhaust being close to the actual ceiling was critical. I had to add additional lumber to do the new construction install type to keep the fan as low as possible. In an existing hole, the fan sits on top of the bracket and uses bendable tabs to hold it down. This leaves the fan too high and you have to tape the gap between the fan and the ceiling which is not good. The bracket should be wide enough for the fan to sit inside it and then screw to the side of the bracket. If I had been forced to do an existing install, after considerable cussing, I would have modified the bracket to make this work. New install - 5, existing install -3 (terrible mounting but I love the unit).

I bought this exhaust fan more than a month ago and just had it install recently by a contractor. Unfortunately, the light was on but the fan was not working. I contacted customer services. They replied back within a day and sent out replacement in 2 days. Extremely happy with the customers services that they provided and they would stand behind the product.

This was a beautiful exhaust fan fixture with a bright light, and a soft light. However if you are buying this for a bathroom exhaust for steam this fan under preforms. Did almost nothing at all to suck the steam out and i put it in a very small bathroom/shower area. Would not recommend for steam extraction.

Works great so easy to connect

This will definitely be put to good use in our main bathroom to properly ventilate to eliminate humidity, odour, moisture buildup and mould from forming/growing. I'm planning to leave it in my dad's capable hands to install but he's currently occupied with other various projects around the home. While CFM is standard measurement, I have 🚭 ced that some exhaust fans do not pull as expected. Somehow being less efficient than anticipated.This exhaust fan provides excellent draw, making me feel it is actually performing as listed. And with a comparison to our previous unit, which was the same draw strength of 100cfm, I can absolutely see a difference between the two.Where my original unit was connected with a run of 5.8' to the exterior, this on sat in the same space, giving the exact comparison. And a test I often use to show efficiency, I will take a single toilet tissue and see if it will stick to the fan when on. And although the tissue stuck into my old unit, it barely held. While this one actually drew the tissue to it, from approximately 6" away. Showing alot better efficiency.As an added bonus, this fan also has an LED light that has 3 color temps. And with a nightlight mode. It works great for improving our light within our windowless bathroom.The operational sound is very good as well. With a low db that is barely audible while running. A very efficient and effective exhaust fan for 6x10' rooms+-.

What could be better in a bathroom exhaust fan then having the best of both worlds which is, a quiet exhaust fan and a nice bright beautiful light that can stand on its own to the point where you probably will not even need any additional accessory lighting. That is the type of item you get with this product, this Is an amazing 1.5 sones which is extremely quiet. Yet extremely powerful. I have provided a video showing the fan, but please try to keep in mind that this video was done with a cell phone up close and upon playback I noticed that it sounds really loud, however, let me reassure you… this fan is extremely quiet! It is so quiet that it makes my present bathroom fan sound like a motorboat!! I am not sure how I survived this long without a fan like this! There is nothing worse than trying to relax in a nice hot shower or bath and also trying not to ruin your bathroom with all kinds of humidity but at the same time you know you just cannot stand a bathroom fan, so what do we do? We often just leave the fan off. This is terrible… But I can see why people do this. There is nothing more annoying than a loud bathroom exhaust fan. With this fan, you can say goodbye to all those annoying showers that you’ve had and start to enjoy a nice quiet, peaceful one.This fan also has a fantastic light that gives you the choice of a night light as well with Just a second Quick flick of your light switch! Both by the way, which are totally dimmable! How cool is that!This exhaust fan is extremely easy to install and comes with everything you need it even provides a template for you to cut your drywall.This is hands-down, the best bathroom exhaust fan I have ever seen or used and I highly recommend it!

This fan for certain doesn't move 100cfm, holding even a piece of paper towel just inches away and the fan doesn't even move it and that's with the cover off. Once the cover is on you can hear the fan become less powerful as there's air restriction. Returning this.
