Mountain Buggy Duet Double Storm Cover

This works great to keep kiddos dry on rainy walks, but it is rather difficult to get kiddos in and out with the cover attached. It also does not work with the car seat attachment making it most difficult with infants. That being said, living in a place with lots of rain this is a great product!

I am a big fan of mountain buggy. They manufacture great products, but I was a little disappointed with the Mountain Buggy Duet Double Storm Cover. It is very durable and keeps the little ones dry but its a difficult to secure it to the stroller with the cord and loop system. It is also difficult to fold neatly which makes it very difficult to put it back into its carry case.

Im giving this cover 5 stars because its near perfect for its intended use.I own the duet, and have two of those bundleme sleeping bag things to keep my children warm in the winter. One day I noticed my daughter developing a windburn type rash on her face, and decided she needed a storm cover to block the wind. This storm cover works great! Now both kids are completely warm and protected when we go out. It was 9 degrees and blizzarding last week. We went out for a walk to test it out, and both kids hands and faces were completely warm each time we checked. We also tested it in the rain and it worked well.One con: There is a front zip up flap with a velco strip at the bottom to let your kids in and out. The opening is on the smaller side, so it can be frustrating to get the kids in/out. Its annoying, but not a deal breaker.

It fits somewhat awkwardly at the top, near the handle for the stroller. But still works well enough for intended purpose.

So happy I bought the rain cover made especially for the Duet. It fits perfectly, of course, and is long enough at the back, to cover our diaper bag attached with stroller clips, and at the sides, to keep everything in the bottom basket dry. I had a bit of trouble, the first couple times, getting it back into the bag it came in but it gets much easier with some practice. The hoods do need to be extended while it is on to prevent the cover from drooping onto the kids but that is really only a pain when trying to get the kids in and out while the cover is on. Overall, if you have the Duet you should buy this cover!!

This cover is perfect for the double stroller. It will work with any of the double mountain buggy's. It's one piece that covers both seats. Will not work with bassinet or carry cot/carseat. You'd need separate covers. You can close the stroller with it on! Just be careful when you open the stroller again.Pretty thick.

Do NOT buy this. This is horribly designed. The cover barely fits over the duet. Worst part is the Velcro around the handle leaves a big gap for rain/snow to soak through; joke to call this a rain over. I was mistakenly sent the rain over for the DUO and almost sent it back. Good thing I still have it. It doesn’t have the front opening, but it covers the entire stroller & meant to be a rain cover.

Very snug fit on the stroller. It's not an instant on/off, but it's not that complicated, either. Couldn't figure out a way to fold the stroller without unsecuring it around the bottom of the footrest, but it wasn't a big deal and could just be that I was missing something. The front opening is very convenient and easy to keep out of the way if the weather clears up but might rain again.

I own the Mountian Buggy Duet v2.5 and this rain cover is too tight for it. It doesn't fit securely around the handles and leaves a big gap that lets water in, and ours has also torn from how tight a squeeze it is to secure it. (See pictures)This hasn't been much of a problem since the rain hasn't been too heavy up until now, however now that it's October and the weather has turned for the worse, my 15 month old baby is getting soaked on a regular basis. Disappointing considering the price of the item and the fact that it's an original Mountain Buggy product, designed for the Duet.

Fantastic easy to put on in a hurry abs provides good coverage from wind and rain. Only issue is velcro fastening is very loud and can wake a sleeping child when being removed, also a little stiff to refold but that's because it is so sturdy.

Not the best design but does the job well enough. The section that goes around the buggy handle is extremely tight and the Velcro mostly fails to hold against the pressure created.

Doesn’t fit. Like other reviewers have said, it’s too tight and after a few used it ripped.

When buying it did not state it was only for the 2.5 version and by the time I used it it was too late to return and does not fit my v3 duet
