Worked perfectly
I tried to use two screwdrivers to flip the key hole but had no luck. I was able to pop it out within a few seconds after using these tools. Highly recommend.

Must Have Tool for Kwikset locks
This simple tool is a must have if one uses Kwikset locks as they are all set for Righthand opening doors! If your door opens from the left as you face the door when you will use the key to unlock the door, it’s best to flip the lock cylinder and this tool makes that job so much easier! When the key’s teeth face up, the lock cylinder will stay lubricated and last longer!

Directions to reverse lock direction on Kwikset entry knobs
I use these when installing kwikset entry knobs so the locks aren't upside down. Which happens about 1/2 the time because they are made for one side. You can find the procedure online, but even then it can be tricky if you haven't done it before. Here is what I do:1. Detach the lock side knob from the rest of the handset.2. Use the pointy end of the tool in the end of the rod to turn it to the middle. This is the lock/unlock mechanism and it has to be halfway for the rod to come out.3. Using the tip of a needlenose pluers, push firmly on the spring inside the handle around the base where the rod goes into the knob mechanism. Push on the sides with more spring. The rod should slide out easily. If not, check that the rod is turned halfway and make sure you are pushing firmly on the correct sides with more spring.4. After the rod is out, use push the other end of the tool (with the two prongs) into the hole the rod came out of, so that one side is pushing open the little tab that covers the slot end of the opening.5. Push the tool in firmly to grab and detach the two spring clips inside so the lock mechanism pops out the front of the handle.6. Turn the lock 180 degrees and click it back into place.7. Push the rod back into the other side. If the tab causes trouble, try to push it up out of the way with the tool as you slide the rod in.When learning to do this, the main two problems I had were not pushing the spring hard enough in the right place to get the rod out, and trying to push out the lock cylinder without putting the tool in correctly to detach the spring clips. You shouldn't need to use a lot of force. Good luck,

Worked Perfectly
I bought this tool to rotate the lock cylinders on a two Quickset Smart Key lock sets. I tried the screwdriver You Tube hack without any luck. After purchasing this tool, the cylinders were rotated in seconds, without me destroying the mechanisms. For me, it was well worth the nine dollars. Why risk damaging a new lockset?

If you know... you need this!
I've done locksmith work for 30 years, Kwickset states an upside keyway is acceptable now but I never leave them in that position, I always put pins up! Just real world dirt and dust WILL cause issues eventually...If you need to pop a cylinder out to swap it around you need this (Well I recommend it over other methods!!)Easy, no brainer... just get it and do the job right every time!

Worked as advertised
I watched a YouTube video and it was easy peasy to turn the tumbler over with this tool. There are two tools, one the tip is angled. Not sure what that one is used for. So Annoying to have to shove the key in upside down.

Useful tool for removing lock cylinders
This tool worked as intended. However!! Please use with a heavy glove to protect your fingers from sharp objects that are part of the guts of the door handle. I didn’t and got a hand injury as you have to push pretty hard to pop out the cylinder. So, just use with caution! But yes it does work to flip the cylinder.

Super easy
Almost wrecked one lock trying the cheap stupid way. Done in less than ten minutes, one jams the opening, the other knocks it out.

Amazon seemed to indicate I needed this
Doesn't appear I needed it for the kwikset (Weiser smartlock cylinder resetter) for a cylinder in turn knob assembly.aybebit's needed for the deadbolts?Didn't come with instructions on how to use it, but it is made out of good quality steel.
