Amazing bike computer at a great price.
Last year I was looking for a bike computer with built in navigation to follow routes without having keep on taking out phone to check directions all the time. Something that wasn't going to break the bank. Ended up buying the iGPSport's iGS520. After a few rides, got used to breadcrumb navigation and has worked out well knowing which direction to head. Also ended up buying their handlebar mount, heart rate monitor and cadence sensor. Also well priced and has been working very well for me. Both on my mountain and gravel bike. This year, decided that I needed more and being very happy with the feature rich, great quality and battery life of the iGS520, ended up buying the iGS630. Haven't been disappointed with my purchase so far. Colour screen with a new and improved GUI. And the navigation now comes with maps!!! WOW!!! As with the the iGS520, the iGS630 gives you the ability to customize each page on the GUI so that you can see exactly what you want to see while riding. The app works well on my mobile phone. Sync's the ride to sites like Strava. Routes can be imported from sites like Strava or from a file (gpx). Some features (not all) worth noting:- Connects to multiple GPS satellites for better reliability (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS) .- Navigation now includes maps to make it easier to follow the directions. Includes turn by turn navigation.- Connects to different sensors which show up on screen while riding.- Customised GUI to see what you want/need to see.- Don't have the equipment and haven't tried, but it is compatible with SRAM eTap, Campagnolo EPS, Shimano Di2 & Control. What is in the box:- Bike computer.- Screen protector.- Lanyard (Great for attaching to your handlebars as added protection).- USB power cable.- User manual.- Bike mount. Garmin style mount with two rubber bands that attach to the handlebars. One accessory worth looking into is the protective case. Fits well. This is a product that comes in at an affordable price, but definitely contends well with the more expensive brands, making it something to seriously consider when looking to buy a bike computer.Five star rating all the way for me.

Really pleased with this device - Amazing value
Looks and feels good. Easy to set up and customize. Navigation works really well. Great value. Only area where it lacks a little is the app, it's not as polished as some of the bigger names. This by no means effects the performance, and it really doesn't bother me, especially when I'm saving around £250 compared to a bigger brand. No touch screen, nice and easy butons around the device.

What an upgrade......!
I bought this iGS630 as an upgrade to my trusty iGS620, which has given (and continues to give) very reliable service. However I was lured by the colour screen and more up-to-date GUI. I've had the unit for about a week now and have been out on a variety of rides.I like the fact that it's not touchscreen. Physical buttons are a better choice here - especially when wearing gloves / when it's raining etc. Touchscreen technology has its uses, but not on a bike computer. The GPS satellite connection is almost instantaneous and the accuracy is astonishing. I rode two identical laps of one of my usual routes and the resulting Strava map was a perfect overlay - to the extent that it looked like I'd only ridden one lap - I promise I rode two.The lanyard is a welcome feature - I wrap this around my handlebars and pass the computer back through the loop for peace of mind should it fall off the mount (highly unlikely).I added my existing iGPSPORT cadence and speed sensors - no problem - the unit recognised these devices quickly. For good measure I changed the CR2025 batteries as I realised they were running a bit low.Even after several rides the battery percentage was at about 90% with the screen permanently on during those rides. The claimed battery life of 35 hours is almost certainly achieveable in my opinion.I like to plan my rides and routes and I tend to do this via Strava. I then export the route to a .GPX file which I save on the computer. I then turn off the iGS630, then connect it via the supplied USB cable to the computer. This puts the unit into "drive" mode and shows the unit's file structure. Simply copy / move the .gpx file into the "courses" folder, unplug the unit from USB and turn it on again. Then head to Navigation, Routes, and you'll see your route file. This is exactly the same method as the one for the iGS620.On a navigation-based rides, the auto-zoom function when approaching junctions is spot-on. Sadly my eyesight not quite what it was - so the colour screen and very clear mapping on this device is absolutle ideal for my needs. This is a huge upgrade for me (from the 620) - I can now see the route without having to stop and zoom in (or worse still refer to Google Maps on my iPhone) which wasn't ideal. Another nice feature is <> directional >< arrows on the route which point you in the direction of travel which is handy should your roads / sections crossover. The app works well and syncs the rides to my Strava account. GPX routes can also be imported via the app but I tend to do that manually (see above) as it's what I'm used to. It's also possible to manually upload rides to Strava as the unit saves them into the "Activities" folder. You then refer to the date & time stamp to work out which ride to upload - pretty easy.Endless customisation of the screens / modes / profiles is available. Some point out that there's almost too much choice here but I say it's better to have something you don't need than the other way round.I had an existing Garmin out-front mount which brings the computer about 100 from the stem. The lanyard is suitably long to still wrap round the bars which is great. I've never had a computer pop out from the mount but it's always nice to know it would be safe should it decide to make a bid for freedom. The devices also comes with a screen protector but for now I've left the factory-fitted one on - this way I have a spare. What's included:- iGS630 Bike Computer- USB power cable & data sync cable - type "C" USB which is good to see- User manual- Garmin-compatible mount with two rubber bands however I would always recommend an out-front mount.- Screen protector- LanyardOthers have mentioned that it might be nice to have mapping which routes you back to the correct course should you get lost - but then again who doesn't have their phone with them these days? So perhaps this is a moot point.I really don't know how this device could be improved. Perhaps a slightly higher resolution screen? That's about all I can think of.I'm delighted with this bike computer - it's everything I need and more.Well done iGPSPORT.

Really Nice Cycling Computer - Rivals Bigger Brands
I waited to write a review of this product for until I really had the chance to give it a thorough amount of testing over the last four months. I must say that I am thoroughly impressed. I purchased this unit as a bundle with a rigid mount and rubber case. The unit ships with a standard handlebar mount, which uses rubber straps to hold the mount to the handlebars. I used that mount a few times, and it was very sturdy and capable. I had no issues with it during either road or trail riding. However, I prefer the rigid mount, as it places the unit in a more natural position for the eyes. The rigid mount is super stable and I have ordered a second one for my other bike. The unit itself was easy to set up. I downloaded the app on my phone and read the instruction booklet. I also watched a few videos online. Some of the instructions are not the best, but it is pretty easy to figure out how to customize screens with the information you want to see. For example, on my map screen, I have the time, the compass, my speed, and the map. On the grid screen, I have temperature, road grade, total ascent / descent, total distance and elapsed time. There are many screens available for customization, and for most, the default selections will be fine. The display is very easy to see in even the brightest of sunlight. The buttons are easy to feel for with gloves on, and are easily activated. The letters and numbers are large enough to read and are very crisp. The display is not overly busy and can be glanced at quickly to get exactly the information you want at the moment.I appreciate many things about this device:1. A direct link to Strava - I have found starting Strava first, then the IGPSport phone app, then powering on the device is a reliable order for immediate ride syncing after the ride is complete. Give the device a minute or two to sync and then you'll get a message from Strava that your ride is ready to view.2. Text message and phone call display - When I receive a text message, I can read about the first 40-60 characters right on the unit, with an audible sound and display at the bottom of the screen. Phone calls are also indicated audibly and visually on the device, so I know if it's important to pull over and pick it up or reply to the text message.3. Map zooming - When approaching a turn, the map will auto zoom, but you can use buttons on the device for manual zooming4. Downloading routes from Ride With GPS - I do a lot of rides for charities, where they post the route on Ride with GPS. Download the .FIT file and send it to the device, and you get turn-by-turn directions. You can customize how far before each turn you will be notified. It has overall worked very well.5. Creating custom routes - For custom trips, I can create the route in advance on my computer or phone using the app and then send it to my device.6. Off Route Indications - When off route (either by accident or on purpose), the unit will audibly indicate you are off-route and then provide red arrows telling you the direction back to the route. the distance to the finish continues to update, which is nice.7. Trails on the map - I rode some great trail systems in Arizona and Michigan and all of the trails are on the map!8. Long battery Life - I have ridden over 9 hours at a time on my bike and the battery was still at about 40%. Charging is fast as well.I just can't say enough good things about this unit. It really rivals other much more significant brands with its capabilities. I would very highly recommend it!
