There's a bit of movement on the moveable bar, that initially seems sloppy, but it allows for movement of the door, and fixings. Once one accepts this, it is perfect. Easy to fit - if you know how to accurately measure things. When the door is locked, there is little movement.Good looking, and simple. Nicely done.

Works a treat for my bathroom sliding door, I didn’t want a lock that was big but it works fine for my door.I would recommend for anyone with a sliding internal door.

This is a nice easy to install barn door lock giving you some good privacy within your home if there's a rolling door with no locking mechanism. It's small child and pet proof, so works well for keeping children and pets within a certain area too!I wouldn't recommend these for an actual method of security though, as there's a major security flaw in the design. The lock is installed at a 90 degree angle, meaning one side of it will be parallel to the sliding door. Why is this an issue? Well, really the only thing stopping the door from sliding open is just 2 screws. With enough sudden brute force, you can take the plate off the wall with the screws cleanly coming out as the door opens in the same direction that the screws come out the frame. The lower the quality of the wooden frame, the easier this can happen. This will most likely also cause a big crack in your door frame, meaning the frame needs to be repaired/replaced.Overall, I think this is an easy to install lock, but I would only recommend this as a privacy lock as it wouldn't be suitable to rely on as a method of actual security.

The media could not be loaded.  Not too big but very robust.Comes as a complete kit with all needed.The idea is to block any door from outside,but can be fitted inside as a second lock.Practically,if you don’t wanna use the key you’re using this lock to block the door.

I already have a bolt (without a padlock) on the inside of my back garden gate.The reason I haven't a padlock is because quite often, I use the back garden gate as my car is parked directly infront of it. I didn't want to cause myself unnecessary hassle of locking and unlocking a padlock everytime i was coming and going.At the same time, I wanted something to stop or deter other people from entering through my back garden gate.My gate is roughly 4ft so I have installed this barn lock close to the top hinge and supporting post of the gate, where I can reach it but its not too visable to anyone else.Hopefully people will use my front door from now on without restricting my own access through the back garden.I ordered this in the,'luminous' version in the hope it glows alittle when I'm coming home past dusk.
