Liquid NailsAcoustical White Interior Sound Reducing Sealant, 28 oz

I bought this in late 2023 to cut down on outside noise coming into my home through old, thin windows. Understanding that only improved windows would keep the sound out like I want, this did make a significant difference. I still hear loud vehicles and such, but the sounds are dampened. This is especially so with high-end noise, like lawn equipment and barking dogs. I also noticed a significant decrease in the chill on my windowsills. The products is easy to apply and as advertised. You will need a large caulk gun to apply this product.

I might've gotten lucky but no issues with packaging here. Worked well for me. Filling in the gap around my bedroom windows with this really made a difference in the noise level. Sounds from outside are much more muffled now.

I am creating the worlds best home theater in my basement and soundproofing it up to yazoo!! I love this gunk for filling voids in the structure to help kill the sound. BUT... I don't understand why (like other customers have) the packing is so poor. As you can see from my pictures the box was open with nozzles protruding from the box. Once open you can see clearly that three of the 5 are bent. This is my second box of these tubes and the first was similarly poorly packed! Shipping and handling need to get their act together!

I purchased this based on the price in Mid march. Now the price has doubled for no reason. This is very similar to USG brand acoustic sealant that you can buy for $8 direct from drywall distribution stores in your local area. Worked good for what it is. Not suitable to seal between PVC electrical boxes and drywall. You want to use something different like Fire putty instead.

Post 2#: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Only a couple hours later they’ve already issued me a refund. I’m pleased with how quick it was resolved so the review now goes to 4 because I don’t think they purposefully sent me a damaged product.Post 1#: ⭐️I mean, I can’t say if the product in itself it’s good or not because it blew up from the back cause of a dent, even thou I broke off the spout really well and cut up a nice big ol’hole and here’s the result.Requesting replacement or refund now, will update once I get an answerrr.
